2 days ago, my chemistry class was literally the most entertaining because my teacher decided to draw 6 polyatomic molecules as FRICKING TEDDY BEARS and told us to sweet dreams😴 about them and encourages us to be friends the 6 polyatomic ions (which I call the POLY6) and they are hydroxide, sulfate, nitrate, carbonate, phosphate, and ammonium🙂🙃
Actually that wasn't the first time he mentioned about them, he actually talked about them in almost every chemistry lesson so maybe I'm thinking of personifying them to join me in my chemistry adventure too! So far I have already created hydroxide, but what do you guys think?
Shall I create OCs of the other 5? 🐱

I just finished my 2nd school tests of the year and so far we have not gotten our results back yet, so I'm hoping I would at least pass all of them. In a few weeks later we will start on another new chapter and I will be back to posting more periodic table/chemistry posts again!😊 This picture is a sneak peek of what the next chapter we will focusing on, and yes I will mainly use my Hydrogen and Hydroxide OCs
And one last thing to say---> I have a few events or stuff I wanna talk about coming up later on in about a month so I'll be sure to update you guys in future posts the sooner they come.

During our free period in school, we all decided to do homework to practise for our 2nd test of the year and while I was doing chem homework about bonding when I got slightly shocked that aluminium chloride can be a covalent compound, which is unusual cuz I thought it would be ionic at first🙃
Then just now I went to find out why and this is what I found---something about polarization or 'The Fajans Rule'(bonding based on polarization) where aluminium is a small and powerful charged cation that can distort certain electrons clouds while chlorine DA BIG ANION HER ELECTRONS ARE BEING PULLED STRONGLY BY ALUMINIUM SO MUCH THAT THE ORBITALS OVERLAP---
They said something about 'small powerful cations + fat weak anions ---> more likely to be covalent' so there are certain plot twists to chemistry :P Though, I'm still looking forward to doing more chemistry⚛ I actually love discovering surprises like these and I just found one of chemistry's 'easter eggs' as a grade 9 student🙃

📣A few things to say📣
1. I am planning to add more stuff to the video because it was mainly supposed to be about ionic compounds in water showcasing aqueous sodium and chlorine, but today in Chemistry Class the topic of bonding got heavy as the teacher said we got many things to memorise so I decided maybe I wanna add more stuff like carbon's allotropes and types of covalent bonds etc
2. I have to be busy with some irl stuff too because I need to work on my Math as I have been falling behind classes lately and I'm also planning on drawing something big
