The camera didn’t focus right. And that felt right. It felt right to me to get back pictures from my latest adventures to see the person in every picture is mostly blurred, the camera hyper focused on the background. Isn’t that kinda what is best about vacations? You dont focus on what you look like, but what everything around you looks like. And you spend more time looking at a sunset than looking in the mirror.
This is how I will remember this trip. Warm blue waters, kind funny people all around, lots of drinks, lots of boats, lots of laughter. Sunburns & sunsets & swim up tiki bars & secret snorkel adventures after hours. Living just to live it; but also living so I can write about it one day.

When I was a kid and I had first dreamed up what my first album would be, the one thing I wanted was to hit one emotion everyone feels with each song on the album. A collection of different emotions, of sorts.
Well, I just watched a teaser my team had put together from the Live Album Release Livestream, & I realized I had sorta did what I had wanted to do when I was 13 just 13 years after, without even realizing. 13 tracks bc it felt right. I was nervous, out of breath, and on cloud 9 during these performances. The team loaded them all up on my channel for y’all singularly so it’s easier to binge on whatever song you want. Enjoy!
Found out tonight that Charley Pride and I have the same birthday. He was born on March 18, 1934. I was born on March 18, 1994. Might’ve cried after we talked, no big deal. This is one of those things I never thought I’d get to do. To sit and casually talk with Charley Pride. Cheers to this @cma & all the special moments!
