Channel Update:

As many of you may already know about two months ago I lost my best friend. The pictures I posted then were mostly of him in his last few months. He had lost alot of weight so I wanted to share some of him in his better days. I miss him dearly. He had more personality than any other cat I ever knew. He acted more like a dog (probably because he was raised by a dog, long story).

I was going to make a video about him but it just didn't feel right. I couldn't script it, that felt wrong and I couldn't just talk because it wouldn't come out right so I just wanted to share some more pictures of him here and share a few things about him...

-He loved opening doors (both knobs and handles, he was very smart. You couldn't go anywhere without him following)

-He HATED grapes. I have no idea why but whenever he saw one the Doom music kicked in and he'd beat it up with his paws. This was exclusive to grapes. Other small round things like baby carrots or tomatoes he left alone.

-He was very protective especially for a cat. I wont go into detail but I had issues at home. Once when someone got too close and threatening to me he dug his claws into them and screamed. Other than that he was the most non aggressive being I've ever met.

-He had a strange deep meow that was often uneven in tone. To date I've never heard anything like it.

-He loved guitars and pianos. I don't know why. Playing either caused him to come near and he'd listen for hours. I used to put on Stalker guitar tracks or the Minecraft soundtrack when I went to work and he was alone. It helped ease his anxiety.

-He also loved cartoons. Specifically Futurama and Spongebob. I think it was something about the bright colors made it easier for him to see the moving shapes. He would sit for hours and watch those specifically. He disliked any live action stuff it seemed.

That's just a little bit about Buttons. He was a good friend. Thanks for reading.

In other news I am going to be doing polls every Monday for a while just to see how it goes (similar to the last one). I think it's nice to sometimes just ask people what their favorite thing from Halo is. Nice to have some positivity instead of always pointing out whats wrong with Halo or whatever other game. I've also got more nature photos which I will post from time to time. (I'll put a sample as the last photo here)

A new Halo video was planned for this Friday but sadly it's looking like it's gonna have to come next Friday instead because it ended up being much longer than I thought it would be (will be about 30 minutes so grab a snack for this one).

Hope you've all had a good week. Stay safe all.

Hey all,

I had made a short earlier that was up briefly showing what I thought to be a bug with MCC in the firefight versus mode. A few of you had pointed it out it was likely not a bug and the result of an AI being hit by the missile off screen.

I went back in theater mode (which did work this time thankfully) and had to look real hard for a couple minutes rewinding and replaying and I did find out that there was in fact a single Grunt hiding in a bush killed by the orbital bombardment.

What happened was right as I killed the enemy player the game announced a betrayal leading me to think the teams weren't working properly (which is a common issue on MCC) however in this case there was a single grunt who was out of my field of view behind a wall and he was taken out by one of the missiles. Oddly enough the other grunts near him much closer to the blast did not die but he did.

Totally missed this and just thought MCC wasn't working because again issues with teams malfunctioning on both Reach and H2 classic are common but since that wasn't actually the case here I wanted to set the record straight and the short has been removed.

Also I know I've been away for a while, I am coming back soon. Have a few Halo videos and some other stuff in the works. Just been dealing with stuff lately. Was gonna upload a full video last weekend but had to scrap it because I just didn't think it was up to par.

Thanks guys.

Hey all,

It's been a bit of a rough time lately so sorry for the lack of uploads. Content will resume in the coming weeks.

Got alot planned for 2026 including more gaming content, deep dives, and something new for the channel in the form of commentary/story times (which if you've been a long time subscriber you'd know I've been wanting to do for years).

In the mean time enjoy some photos I took deep in the woods.

Glad to finally have some warmer weather. Its been a real cold winter.

Last night my best friend and 'supervising producer' passed away.

Buttons has appeared on the channel a few times, whether it was to help me show off my army men collection, dunk on Halo 5 or just sitting near me while I edited for hours on end, one way or another he has been a part of this channel.

He has also been a big part of my life. I've known him since he was a baby. His original name was Mickey but my mother had changed it. (Though he'd respond to either)

I got him through a shelter program. When we went to see the cats all of them were fairly aloof except for him. I held a can of food up to his cage and he sniffed it and followed it around with his tiny head wherever I moved it.

That's what made me choose him. His intelligence and ability to understand from a young age what was in the can intrigued me. As he grew he learned how to operate doorknobs and handles, turn on/off computers, and make everyone laugh. He is by far the smartest and most lovable cat I have ever known. (And I used to volunteer at a shelter myself so I've known alot of cats)

He was a friend to everyone and everything. He loved people, dogs, other cats, and squirrels. He didn't have an aggressive bone in his body (except for the time he physically defended me, but that's a long story) and he loved everyone. You could flip him over, rub his belly, and play with his ears and he was never bothered.

He was always a talker. He meowed alot. He had a deep uneven meow, one of the strangest I've ever heard but it was still a nice meow.

Though I cared for him in alot of ways I think he raised me just as much as I raised him. I was a boy when we met. Now I own my own house, got married, and the works. Sadly in recent years he's struggled with health issues and had to take alot of medication. It kept him alive but it could only work for so long.

His last day was happy. He was fine sitting on his chair watching Garfield with me and my wife before he went into another room and passed with only a brief amount of pain.

He was the last of my pets to pass and now I hope he is in some nice form of afterlife rejoining his old friends. Life will never be the same without him. I will always miss him and I want this post to help serve as a memorial to him. He was my best friend and even more so he was my brother.
