Well, I recently watched Graytale's latest video and realized that the marks are visible to everyone. This surprised me because my view of the marks, and consequently how they work in Colorful Dilemma, is quite different

So I decided to make a post about it

Well, I've always seen the marks as something that exists conceptually, they only exist so we, the viewer, can understand how the character feels without actually seeing what happened.

It's a visual product of the series, and it's simply incredible! Victaton really had a very good idea of how to convey information to the audience without making it too explicit

Because of this perspective, I always imagined that it would only be possible for someone to see someone's marks if that person spoke directly or saw what caused the marks

In Wine's case, he caused black marks on Yellow, but he sees them as white because he thinks there was consensual

The marks are invisible to everyone except the two of them and anyone who will, eventually, find out.

There are also other cases and new concepts that I created over time, what happens in the case of Midnight for example is different

Midnight doesn't care about what he feels when he's touched by the one he loves; he only cares that they were BB's. Because of this, the marks left are BB's colors.

And there is the case of Mauve, who had a trauma very early on and simply forgot, he doesn't remember the marks he had, even though he felt them and still has after-effects.

That's what I wanted to talk about. Maybe new concepts will emerge over time, or maybe I'll change my way of seeing certain things

Bem, recentemente vi o último vídeo de Graytale e percebi que ali as marcas são visíveis para todos. Isso me surpreendeu porque a minha visão sobre as marcas, e consequentemente como elas funcionam em Colorful Dilemma, é bem diferente-

Então decidi fazer um post sobre isso

Bem, sempre vi as marcas como algo que existe de forma conceitual, elas apenas existem para nós, o telespectador, poderem entender como o personagem se sente sem ver de fato o que aconteceu

É um produto visual das séries, e é um produto simplesmente incrível! Victaton realmente teve uma ideia muito boa de como passar informações para o público sem deixar muito explícito

Por ter essa visão, sempre imaginei que só seria possível alguém ver as marcas de alguém se essa pessoa falasse diretamente ou visse o que causou as marcas

No caso de Wine, ele causou marcas pretas em Yellow, mas ele as vê como brancas por achar que ali tinha consentimento

As marcas são invisíveis para todos, menos para os dois e para quem, futuramente, vai acabar sabendo.

Existem também outros casos e novos conceitos que criei ao longo do tempo, o que ocorre no caso de Midnight por exemplo é diferente

Midnight não se importa com o que ele mesmo sente com os toques de quem ele ama, ele só se importa de que foram de BB. Por causa disso, as marcas deixadas são das cores de BB

E existe o caso de Mauve, que teve um trauma bem cedo e simplesmente esqueceu, ele não lembra das marcas que teve, mesmo as sentindo e ainda tendo sequelas

Isso era o que eu queria falar. Talvez novos conceitos venham com o tempo, ou talvez eu mude minha forma de ver certas coisas
