It’s amazing to me that there are still dealerships that don’t know the difference between MPGe and MPG. It’s like they don’t even process what kind of miracle of physics, thermodynamics and engineering would be required to achieve 49 MPG in a Jeep Wrangler.

This single document is huge news for all #4XE owners. For context for anyone who hasn’t experienced any battery issues, P0DAB is very common. When my first battery was experiencing degradation, P0DAB was what triggered when it dropped to around 79%. When degradation happens, not all of the cells degrade at the same rate. So some cells reach a lower voltage state than the others. This results in a cell imbalance condition. So while battery degradation is not specifically covered by the warranty, we now have a means of not getting stuck paying for a battery when it happens. This is really awesome news for every one of us.
