Nightmare

In 2023 Autumn we shot a music video clip for my first song 'Nightmare'. I remember before the filming I was quite nervous and unsure how to act, behave, what to do. I mean I knew what my tasks where, but more like in a sense of how to deliver it, how to look in front of camera, how to act, and so on..
We were shooting at the beginning of the winter and had to shoot all the scenes in a freezing cold (well it was more or less around 0), but still hanging the whole day in a cold with jacket on and off between filmings, singing the whole day, was quite challenging physically.

Overall, when I look back, it was one of the best days, like it was so much fun. With tips from the director and people around, it made it all seem possible and doable. I am really thankful for all the people who were involved in the video, the crew and the staff who were part of it. It felt like a dream come true in a way, cause it finally for the first time felt like I am starting this singing and songwriting journey that I wanted to be part of for so long.

It's been more than 6 months and so much changed in the way where I see my music (singing) career going. I started a new channel to separate whitesand from my singing music. Because originally I wanted to do everything as Whitesand, but as Whitesand been more established as a cinematic music channel, I thought it was a time for a change and trying something new, trying something from scratch. Its quite a big undertaking when you think about it, because I start all over again in a way. I've been in this position before and it feels easier than before, but still feels like a big undertaking.

Coming back to Nightmare, it was my first song that I ever wrote, which I felt confident with to share it with people, cause I wrote it more than a year before my release date. A year of practicing and getting out of my comfort zone, confidence to show my voice and singing in front of people, countless hours of practicing and doing drills. It all came together and pushed me to make that step in a way. Now more than 6 months later, it feels like new steps are on the way with the concert coming up and the album and altogether with Marside, the singing stories than I plan to release more and more. All this feels like growth.
