🔹 Synonyms: resemble • look like • be similar to

🔹 Memory Trick: You come AFTER your elders, so you TAKE AFTER them.
🔹 Previous-Year Exam: Asked in CAPF (AC) 2020, 2023 and 2026, Paper-II

📖 2. CALL OFF
🔹 Meaning: to cancel something that was planned
🔹 Synonyms: cancel • abandon • scrap
🔹 Example: The joint naval exercise was called off after a cyclone warning.
🔹 Memory Trick: The umpire CALLS the players OFF the field. Match cancelled.
