The "AI will replace developers" hype.

Recently, I’ve been seeing a lot of posts claiming that AI will replace developers.

Let me be honest.

I use AI regularly for many tasks. It definitely helps speed up the development process. But almost every time, the output still needs tweaks, fixes, and improvements which I do manually reading the code before it becomes production-ready.

Without understanding the fundamentals, relying purely on AI or "vibe coding" is risky. If you don’t know how the code works, debugging, scaling, or even fixing small issues becomes difficult since you need to rely again on AI for that.

Strong fundamentals will always matter.

AI is just a tool that speeds up a developer’s workflow, not something that replaces the developer.

I’m writing this mainly because I noticed something recently. Many people seem to be skipping my videos thinking AI will do everything anyway. A lot of this fear comes from unnecessary hype used to sell tools and products.

Don’t fall for that.

Focus on learning the fundamentals properly. When you understand how things work, AI becomes a powerful assistant instead of something to worry about.

AI won’t replace developers.
Developers who know the fundamentals and use AI will simply move faster.
