Something super long is approaching on this channel... (someone may share this post stating "no-one cares" despite them caring enough to share it but oh well lol)
Hm... this looks like an achievement of some sort. Has it really been 10 years already?! (Yes, I'm aware that some people may not really care about this, but I do, because this is a rare feat to behold on YouTube ๐)
Oh, and Merry Christmas, folks! (wonder what you've had for Christmas this year?)
Okie dokie, so as a partial follow-up to my previous post, I shall go over a few things that I didn't fully mention originally (due to space limits and lack of information over the subjects). If you didn't see the first post, click the link at the bottom.
Remember: Read the whole post and pinned comment before commenting on or sharing this post, don't attack or witchhunt anyone mentioned (especially Jay), screenshot examples are used, yadda yadda yadda.
So, let's get started.
As you can see from the first screenshot below (credit to โช@the_italian_boiโฌ) showing off my reply from a comment, I said that saying fictional characters don't have opinions is like them not caring about anyone else. Even though I said that at first, I shall elaborate more on the subject. While this phrase is partially correct to some degree, the way it's introduced is baffling. There's more to this than just the bare-bones.
You see, when it comes to crossovers in cartoons and TV shows with different franchises, they can clash with each other to make a one-off special, and this usually happens if both franchises are made by the same person. That's normal if opinions are formed there. However, when it comes to rants and salutes having them for seemingly no reason, that's when a problem starts.
Let's say we have a rant on... me (seeing that some of Jay's fans hate me over his issues; foreshadowing ahead), and let's say that all characters from Ed, Edd 'n Eddy are put in the like spot of the rant. This would be known as an invalid/untrue opinion on a character (or pack of characters), unless I made it canon in my videos. With everyone else, the chances of that happening would be next to nothing, and the same principle would apply to another franchise that may not be alike or may not be a next-door neighbour to a subsidiary development team.
Good example: Naughty Dog and Insomniac Games, creators of Jak and Daxter and Ratchet & Clank, respectively
Bad example: Sonic from Sega in... oh, I don't know? 64 Zoo Lane, where half the characters like him?
If the ranter/saluter did their research and if the opinion of a character is canon to the crossover episode in correlation to a series, then that would be valid and acceptable (example: Sarah or Kevin hating me because they might think I'm annoying to them as shown in the theoretical crossover video that I would make, and it's shown in the rant as-is, so you need proof and cite your sources when you do have proof).
The way the term is used makes it sound like they don't have opinions at ALL, which doesn't make any sense because the people who make the rants/commentaries do not elaborate. If characters didn't have opinions at all, then Mario wouldn't be saving Peach, would he? Bowser wouldn't be kidnapping her, either. Nor would any of Bowser's minions try to stop Mario from saving her. Of course, this is mostly speculated according to the Mario lore, seeing that Peach is the ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom, but still. Now imagine this terminology with the cartoons that you watch, such as Looney Tunes. The characters wouldn't be as funny as you picture them now, would they? Or how about Wile E. Coyote with the Road-Runner? How would their episodes go if they didn't have an opinion on each other? I'd like to see responses in the comments.
Yeah, you can be accused of being a criminal in the GA community just from being hated by someone or something. There are way too many instances of this occurring, so I'll just use one that you might've seen before: OPS Gene, believing that I'm a criminal almost immediately after Jay's attempt at lashing out at me over my optional advice (see the 2nd screenshot).
Just because you're hated over a decision that you made does not mean you're a criminal immediately if it doesn't break the law. Gligar13vids makes horrible reviews on Sonic games just to tick off the Sonic fanbase. Is he a criminal as well, due of his horrible reputation and extreme hate for several years running, even to this day? Nope!
This is also known as slander, and it's also known as defamation or a strategy used to make the hated person even look worse than they already are when they have done nothing to make that claim true (even if evidence was gathered and shown, it'd usually be faked, such as a fake Discord message or YouTube post/comment, all the while going "credit to (random person) for the evidence" without even LOOKING at said evidence).
To further prove my justification, this user (OPS Gene) can't be found at all, neither on Jay's channel, nor by looking up this person on YouTube, and not even in an opinion change post or random exposal video (and no, not on Discord either). Even after replying to Jay's comment that he left on my haircut video asking him for evidence to prove his or OPS' point, he didn't respond at all, even after a day of waiting. What does this tell you? They're not being sincere with their words and they go with the community's logic instead of the person who could be innocent.
This is why the police need proper evidence to show that the crimes were committed, otherwise an arrest cannot be made, because it's how the law works. People can lie, remember. Using someone else's name as a reference and the word "criminal" is not enough evidence to prove that they could be classed as an actual criminal. This is just a manipulation tactic.
And, I can't believe I have to say this, but just because someone's a stalker doesn't mean that every action that involves putting a user (or putting users) into their creation(s) instantly counts as them stalking the user(s) in the video. โช@fmajor881โฌ made a very good video on what the word "stalking" actually is, but I'll explain briefly here for reference. Here's the video if you wanna watch it: https://youtu.be/Xzed8fVefxo
Stalking is where someone attempts to spy on a user that they might have an interest in even after they've been blocked, kinda like a yandere with their senpai. If the stalker tries to bypass the user blocks by making alts or throwaway accounts just to contact one person through some means, then that would count as stalking, especially if it's prolonged longer than it has any right to be.
If you know that someone that you hate is commenting on your video, you don't need to make a big deal out of it and especially if you expose the comment through some stupid pin, video or community post; it's unnecessary and makes you look no better.
Obviously, stalking is a crime, since it can affect people's mental health, but when it comes to someone acting weird towards other people with incorrect/inappropriate responses, then that is not stalking. That's just being weird or a creep, which is usually not any better, and sometimes it's even worse.
๐๐ฏ๐ฅ, ๐ข ๐ฃ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ด ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ช๐ฏ๐ต ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ - ๐๐ถ๐ต๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ "๐ด๐ฐ๐ณ๐ณ๐บ, (๐ถ๐ด๐ฆ๐ณ) ๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ด" ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ช๐ต๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ณ ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ด๐ต ๐ฐ๐ง ๐บ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ณ ๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ช๐ฏ๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ค๐ฉ๐ข๐ฏ๐จ๐ฆ๐ด (refer to the 3rd screenshot) I shouldn't have to say this, but putting that in your opinion change at all instantly defeats the purpose of it existing, regardless of WHERE it's placed. Seriously. It will always lead to the person/thing getting hated, usually for extremely vague reasons, every single time without fail (usually with the creator not being sorry, either).
Spoiler warnings are meant to be there to prevent people from seeing what happens in a show or movie's scenes before they see it live, either on their TV, or in a movie theatre (cinema). Sometimes, things appear in spoiler blocks on Discord, requiring you to click on it to reveal the information shown. Obviously, this GA community phrase is the polar opposite of that.
Imagine this: You're going to a cinema to watch a movie that you wanted to watch for several months, but when you're finally about to enter the screen with the movie that you're about to watch, its poster near the top says "sorry, (name of villain) fans" with an explanation of the ending of the movie, right down to the highlights of it. This ruins the tension of the movie and what the villain may be like (along with their goal), leaving you with a rotten taste in your mouth from spoiler exposure.
In conclusion, admittedly, Jay's hate post on me is neither logical nor fair, seeing that it was only for two reasons, both of which are dumb; for allegedly forcing people to take down commentaries when I asked only one person and another watched Peyton's video, and because Jay would be demotivated to make videos if his commentaries were shut down or if they're referenced as copyright infringement, and they are.
I don't mean to be rude, but lashing out at someone just because they asked their friend to remove something that was necessary to curb your demotivational issues does not make you a good person. Not even close. It only makes you selfish and unreasonable towards an individual person who has given out a good point in the lieu of Internet laws. In other words, they're definitely invalid reasons; no doubt about that. There are other things to make such as gaming videos and your own series that focuses around a genre, such as comedy. You need to do your research first.
Remember: Be a leader of the pack that knows what's right, instead of being a follower to replicate what's wrong.
TL;DR: Fictional characters do have opinions as long as it's done in canon and not through a random assumption (and I mean canon from the original creator, or a fan if it's in the style of the original creator), being hated or controversial is not a crime at all and is in the form of manipulation/coercion, and putting something like "sorry, โช@mjthespiritโฌ fans" in your opinion change post/video completely ruins it, even if the target is different to the example here.
The previous post where I talk about GA commentaries: bit.ly/3wHRn2y
It appears that some people like to make GoAnimate-styled commentaries where they try to "commentate" on a video that they hate, or because a fan of theirs requested them to do so. However, some people appear to misunderstand that making them can put your channel at risk, and they're bad to make. I shall explain why, seeing that some people don't get the memo after they saw that โช@PeytonAnimateโฌ's commentaries were flushed down the toilet.
Note: Before you comment at all, read the whole post from start to finish (and the pinned comment, too). Examples from users will be used as well; please don't harass, attack, or witchhunt anyone who's mentioned/brought up.
So why are GA commentaries bad? The short answer can be summed up with two words: Copyright infringement. That's basically what they are. The GA commentaries that people make can infringe on people's copyright - what's the rule of thumb when it comes to that? Don't steal other people's videos, or you'll usually get copyright striked.
It doesn't help that other copyrighted clips from TV shows, movies and other YouTubers are used as reactions to events that occur in the commentary, which are mainly caused by "my reaction to/that" videos; they can also give you copyright strikes or blocks.
I know some of you may say that they both fall under fair use, but that's not the case. You see, fair use is a legal doctrine that allows the use of copyrighted material under a limited and transformative purpose, such as to comment upon, criticise, or parody work made by the original copyright holder as long as they're properly credited. The GA commentaries, however, don't fit under the same belt. Almost all of them use a clichรฉ community line such as "fictional characters don't have opinions" or they'll just disagree with everything the video has to offer; neither of which is criticism at all. GA commentaries are usually made in the form of slander; you would be using a disguised reupload of someone's video just to diss the creator of it or to express your reaction over a petty thing whilst killing your view counts.
It's true that you have the right to like or dislike something, but there's no need to lash out at a video that someone made (or an action that someone took) just because you may not like it, but the rest of the community does (and even if the community doesn't, it's not worth it). There are some people out there who wish to improve on what they've made for their fans (or themselves); even if you hate a video or someone, you still have to respect them and their copyright, because it's the law.
There are also other hypocritical points that can occur from GA commentaries as well:
โข The community may be obsessed with opinions, saying that they'll respect yours or they'll call out the creator for "bashing" an opinion but they'll end up making "corrections" to a user's opinions in the commentary which is technically not respecting the opinions at all, and they don't explain why (and they'll "bash" your opinion if they hate you under any circumstances, going against their claims)
โข The commentator may say that they don't care about a segment of a video via a copyrighted clip but they let that segment play anyway, sometimes more than once
โข A user may commentate on a rant, saying that the rant will suck, but the commentator may make rants that are just as bad as the one that they're "commentating" on, especially if they're GoAnimate-styled or made by a user the commentator hates
โข The commentator may go "what does (thing) have to do with (other thing)", but they'll respect or show the commentator's opinion on things using the typical Vyonder terminology, which has nothing to do with the commentary at all
โข The commentator may say their commentary is for constructive criticism but they call the original uploader childish insults (such as a whiny crybaby), and sometimes they act what they say the uploader is - slander is NOT constructive criticism; using that an excuse is worse than not using it at all
I understand that we can all be hypocrites at times, but the goal is to not be a hypocrite; we make mistakes and that's how we learn. Here's a post explaining what โช@CoolGorillaGoAnimate7000โฌ means by "everyone can be a hypocrite", which I recommend you read: youtube.com/post/Ugkx7TEV...
Commentaries are supposed to be an explanation or an illustration of what may go on in a video (either their own video or a video that they're allowed to use under the copyright law). An example is this video here: https://youtu.be/1WGlcqv-hjc
This is what a commentary is supposed to be - note how the guy explains specific tricks and glitches that the player uses to skip past sections or entire levels with ease (sometimes with humanly impossible exploits). There are clear explanations and helpful information said in the video. Research was done on the game prior to making the video (even the version of this that doesn't have the commentary).
GoAnimate-styled commentaries are not only a threat to your channel, but they can be a waste of time if you really think about it; if your strategy was to follow the typical Vyonder act of disagreeing with what a video has to say about someone or something without explanation other than protecting one's self-esteem or defending something that you really, really like, then there really isn't a point to making your commentary at all, especially if it's a rant that you might think to commentate on; some viewers of yours might know what to expect without clicking on the video that may be "soon to be published". To put it simply, they're just extended versions of the ever-formulaic GoAnimate-styled rants that don't follow even the basics of copyright laws. They even have the same problems as these rants because they can be targeted towards trolls, making them troll feeders (and hypocrites if they claim that they're not feeding the trolls).
How would you feel if you made a video where Caillou gets grounded, where you spent hours of work on it and made it very detailed, only for someone to make a GoAnimate-styled commentary on what you've made? You might be annoyed, but you might have the sudden urge to make a commentary on their commentary, which is a similar problem to sequel videos and is NOT how fights should be dealt with on the Internet.
I noticed that some people from โช@UrLocalAustinDillonFanโฌ's post flew over to my latest video to send a couple hate comments and dislikes (likely without properly watching the video). He currently hates me (sorry, "detests" me) because I shut down Peyton's commentaries, but what I've said above is the reason why; it's for the community's own good, and to follow the copyright law, which is also explained on YouTube. He temporarily privated all his videos a few months ago due to his copyright strikes.
It's best to know and be wrong with the mistakes that you make, rather than to not know what you've done wrong until you're punished, and live with regret. In other words, it's best to know your limits of what you can and can't upload on your channel, rather than to not delete what's infringing copyright, putting your channel at risk of termination from copyright strikes, or to ruin your behaviour/reputation. Even if you do get a copyright strike, it's not the end of the world. Nor is it worth putting Susan Wojcicki โโ(YouTube CEO) in the line of fire over your mistakes. In all honesty, there are better things to do in the community than reuploading someone's videos that you hate, only to slander the creators of them from top to bottom. Even the trolls; they should be ignored because they only want your attention and that's it.
TL;DR: The GoAnimate-styled commentaries are just disguised reuploads of other people's videos that exist just to diss the original uploader(s) off, sometimes if the OG videos are made by trolls, and even then, they have multiple hypocritical points that can make someone unreliable/untrustworthy and no better than the one who started the problem in the first place. A dislike with polite, constructive criticism as a comment would've been smarter than this reuploading slander nonsense - once again, there are better things to make that aren't GA commentaries, and even if you can do commentaries on videos, you have to be civil and respectful while understanding the boundaries of copyright and fair use. Regardless if you think the video sucks or not, give credit where credit is due, especially when it comes to copyright, and you'll be safe from the punishments that can occur from infringing it.
And of course, it's your choice if you want to follow my advice or not, because that's what freedom/flexibility is about, but I would recommend you follow it so you don't lose your channel sometime in the future. Truth be told, I didn't make Peyton, @EpicVinceAnimations2K8 Is Back, or anyone else delete their commentaries. It was honestly their freedom of choice if they wanted to or not, but I said to Peyton first that it's recommended that he do so he doesn't get copyright strikes or terminated. The same scenario can apply to you as well if you don't get rid of yours, if you have any. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day, you'll see what I mean.
The lesson/moral of the story: Remember to respect people's copyright. They respect yours. You shouldn't disrespect the copyright of other people over your self-esteem. ๐
(By the way, trying to attack me with useless videos under the lines of "I now darkmate MJ" is a form a slander as well, especially when you claim that I "forced" people to take them down when I clearly didn't. You're no better than the (toxic) person that you may look up to if you choose this path and besides, you're honestly wasting your time with trying to attack me lol
Read this if you don't believe that I didn't force anyone (especially you, @AYDEN Productions): bit.ly/3lNYlhv)
Right, so, before we get into this post, please remember that any screenshots I use are examples of what should be followed or what shouldn't be made. Please don't attack anyone mentioned as you could get yourself into trouble otherwise. Any influence intended in this post is not meant to be classed as manipulation and you are allowed to disagree with critique posts like this one if necessary. I'm not forcing you to change your opinion on what I'm about to discuss, but I advise you to listen up and read this post carefully! (don't forget to read the pinned comment, too)
I've noticed that people have been making some posts where they ask a question regarding what entity matches a part of their birthday; either the month, year or day of the month that people were born in. For example, the post may say "which GoAnimator is your birthday?", where Kenny may be February, I may be July and Tbone may be November, as examples.
I regret to say this; but this trend, like others that follow a similar format, need to stop. They influence people to share their birth month or date of birth, even if they don't feel comfortable with doing so (at the back of their head, if at all) and/or if the user's parents tell them: "Do not share your date of birth to the Internet publicly". I'm sure you've heard of this quote before, right? Either way, telling the world what your date of birth is, especially in a community like this, may put your privacy at risk, and might attract predators and cyberbullies, since they would see that the targets are young and usually defenseless. If the trend doesn't stop (even though it's a week+ old), then it'll become like the #YourThingCollab videos, such as "#YourDateOfBirth", which were shut down after just one to two days because of how shady and dangerous they are (refer to screenshot 1, which is from a deleted YouTube video that I didn't make). They fall under the same format (almost).
What I mean by this: Someone who hops on the bandwagon of the trend may try to expand on that, by having their post say "what (thing) is your birth year?" or "what (thing) is the day of the month that you were born in?", all while going "credit to (literally anything) for the idea", which shows that the person hopped on the bandwagon; they've promoted a trend like this just because other people have been doing so, usually without realising the dangerous consequences, such as said trend being like the "#YourDateOfBirthCollab" trend. Then other people will make the exact same post(s) as the one who expanded on the trend, because again, bandwagoning. Do you see where I'm going with this?
I get that you probably make posts like these to interact with your audience, but to be honest, when it comes to Internet safety, that should always take priority of your methods of interaction. There are better ways to make posts/polls like these without making people share information that could lead to them being affected in the future (without making the posts things like "should I forgive this user?" just because that user "admitted their wrongdoings", normally in a loose way).
Remember: The Internet is a dangerous place, especially in shady corners of it and its communities. I know the Internet in general uses this bandwagon act, but it's more apparent in the GA community and with youngsters worldwide. If you posted your birth date or month already, then the risk of privacy may or may not apply to you, but it would still be a problem to those (such as your fans) who answer the stated rhetorical question(s) in the comments of the post, or if they end up sharing it (as usual). Once the information is there, it's there forever, even if you try to purge every instance of it. People who browse the Internet will have it in their memories if they can remember and you cannot erase those memories from other people's minds. Back to the main point...
Trends like these fall under a cycle:
โข Someone makes a post that tries to start a trend (unintentionally or otherwise)
โข People make their own versions of it due to the user's popularity or ends up sharing it to make it get more attention
โข It spreads like wildfire for several weeks or months
โข People start hating it eventually because it causes problems, or its lifespan has ended
โข Someone else tries to make another version of the trend that's almost EXACTLY like the previous iteration that's been posted to death
โข Repeat ad infinitum, from point 2
(Alternatively, someone else ends up lashing at another user that has a different opinion because they complain about how it's "overused", without providing much information at all. The lasher is also in the wrong if they use the wrong words for influence, such as "manipulation", even if no manipulation is present in the post at all.)
Besides, sharing "trend posts" clutters up your community tab. If you check โช@nothere677โฌ's tab and scroll down far enough, you'll see that he has shared every single post that he saw regarding his fans' birthday wishes to him, which takes up a LOT of space and it takes ages to see his posts before his birthday, especially on mobile devices. Some of the shared posts are of these shady "birth month" trends as well, if you search through them slowly (an example of a trend post being shared instead of it being commented on is present in screenshot 2; note that the post sharer's birth month was already revealed to the public before said post was shared). There are several reasons why all websites have to abide by COPPA; a law made to prohibit people under the age of 13 from using social media accounts on websites. These trends alone are one of the reasons, since some people who fall victim to this trend are underaged.
TL;DR: Please be considerate of your Internet life and try to manage the information that you send out, especially if it's a part of you. If you're making or sharing posts that ask people what their birth month, day or year is, please don't, because you may start a new version of "#YourDateOfBirthCollab" videos (as posts) otherwise, especially if you're doing it because other people are doing it or are expanding on it. Same applies to countries, favourite colours, ethnicities, etc. If you still want to share your date of birth (even though it's not recommended IMO, at least in this community), do so at your own risk, okay?
If you have any questions, please tell me in the comments. Remember that I'm not trying to diss people off for making posts that follow this trend; I'm just saying that you shouldn't make them, in order to protect your privacy. You can disagree with this post if you don't like it or most of its reasons/points; just don't make a big deal out of it :)

Welp, looks like I finally did it! I reached 10K subscribers!
In all my years of being on YouTube and GoAnimating, I never would've expected myself to reach this impressive milestone... it's so... beautiful... ๐คฉ
Oh yeah, I also wanna give a shout-out to MarkTheVyonder2021 as well, because he's one of my best friends ever since we met up during the GA Remastered days~
Here's his channel, so go subscribe to him if you haven't!

Brian: "Man, I miss the legacy video maker! Whatever shall I do?" *thinking sounds* "Oh! I know! I'll make my own duplicate of the LVM so that everyone can use it as they please! It's copyright law breaking time!"
*2 hours later...*
Brian: "Yes! It's about time I got the duplicate to work because I luckily stored the code that came with it, and put it into a website! But how will I make my own characters?" *Hmmmm...* "Oh! I'll just try to find a website that hosts the Character Creator on another website and expose it to my YouTube channel so that the entire community flies right to it!"
*7 hours later...*
Brian: *checking comments* The... the Creator's disabled? The Creator's disabled, are you serious?! *opens the Creator through the link and finds the below image*

Doing so will not only break the respect of the website owner, but it will also break the respect of Vyond's copyright, and they will shut it down. Therefore, we shouldn't expose the link to any site containing the information otherwise crap like this will happen. Brian ended up getting arrested and grounded until the LVM officially returns (it won't) by the FBI for violating the copyright law in the process.
R.I.P: The legacy video maker. (1st November 2007 - 19th December 2019) Press F to pay respects. (Also, click "Read more")
~Upload schedule of my final legacy videos~ 19/12/2019 - I get sent to the PL logo
20/12/2019 - Five Nights at Freddyโs - 6 AM scene in GoAnimate/Vyond
21/12/2019 - Penelope and Sally in front of me
28/12/2019 - My first PM + FG video
29/12/2019 - Matilda's adventure inside my mouth (was originally 27th, but delayed due to an error)
1/1/2020 - New Yearโs Day Party 2016! (Yep. Itโs 4 years late, but I donโt care.)
5/1/2020 - A strange inversion video thatโs not Calebโs/All Chibi actions (no notification)
12/1/2020 - MJโs Memes (A compilation containing the best parts of my old movie, which is an utter mess. Still liked it and itโd be a shame if I wasted these clips...)
15/1/2020 - A video about exploration into someoneโs mouth, but who could it be?!
22/1/2020 - What appears to be my last GoAnimate video before the Vyond update (will be shortened to reduce padding, but will upload the uncut version as unlisted.)
26/1/2020 - Fluttergirl Series - The Mirror (special edition by me)
29/1/2020 - The world through the eyes of MJ :P
30/1/2020 - The mystery of the centuries-old Fluttergirl
31/1/2020 - ??? (The final legacy chapter (semi-indefinitely), relating to an arch-nemesis. This will end the legacy experience with a bang and will be premiered.)
Note that all these videos were made before the legacyโs retirement and the mystery one was created and finished 16th December at 2:30 AM. Yep. I sacrificed a good nightโs sleep just to finish that last video. Thatโs how dedicated I am.
Iโll try to use the new video maker, but video production made with this site will be significantly slowed. I have a life outside of GoAnimate, and we all grow up. Everyone's leaving because of this change.
Also, I have a confession to makeโฆ I actually have autism, or ASD. Yep. I actually had it my entire life. Itโs quite light, but it's true. My doctor believed I was diagnosed with autism when I was born (I think?), and he said that I wouldn't ever be able to speak in real life. Clearly not true because I can speak clearly but I'm kinda anxious which the words I need to use...
I know I say โscrubsโ frequently and a few people complained about that, so I made a meme version of that video as a way of saying, โIโm sorryโ. That shows that I can take criticism, even if it looks like I may be a bit snappy at times. I truly hate old voice alerts as you can tell, because I made a grounding video based off them. That isnโt necessary to alert such a thing, and I sometimes keep it as a meme in my head. Besides, almost every time it's used, the voice isn't even an old version. If it sounds the same as the previous instance of the voice then it shouldn't be considered old, right? Brendan Barney's old videos are a prime example, but no offence to him.
And, I'll be honest when I- er- Brian made that video on GoAnimate haters, it was secretly a rant on GoAnimate-styled rants, yet I see comments saying that I bashed someoneโs opinion or if someone simply said โagreedโ. You should know that I will not be making any GoAnimate-styled rants on my channel at all, unless they are purely random or for a pure demonstration. Besides, Brian never abused anyone's opinion at all, and I wonโt either! It was mainly a test to see what comments may appear from people that may not have watched the video before, or a โgeneric rant simulatorโ, if you will. Even Brian himself said that the GoAni community is very manipulative and a few comments on that video prove this statement. You're all still awesome, by the way.
That just shows that even the most talented creators can have autism and still take criticism when itโs due. And yet, some evil people still use โautisticโ as an insult, probably for people who are considered โstupidโ.
I know that the GoAnimate community can be quite toxic, butโฆ itโs better than Fortnite, thatโs for sure! Those overused name templates such as โAwesomeGoAnimator // MJ, the Spirit IsCutieโ, โFluttergirl&Matilda336 MJtheSpirit909โ and โMJtheSpiritYes LotteryBoyNoโ, they're only used because the community thinks that they look cool, but in reality theyโre just another one of those black sheep in the field. Iโm not saying you should stop using that username if you are doing so, but please understand my thoughts on the overused username terms. Once one person starts doing something, everyone else will start plagiarising it by putting โinspiredโ in the description and it gets more views, even if you make a copy like everyone else to tell people to stop copying it and itโs even animated betterโฆ what the fudge?!
I donโt go down that road because I have a creative mind that isnโt all about the endless grounding videos. The reason of a grounding is to punish someone for their unethical actions that may be considered negative on the victim experiencing it. You canโt just get expelled for 13 years just for talking in class! That doesnโt make any senseโฆ
Iโll probably make another video with the Vyond Studio that will explain my futureโฆ Donโt worry, all my GoAnimate/Vyond videos will remain on this channel as an archive of how great GoAnimate/Vyond USED to be before the staff took down almost their entire site. (Yes, I will switch back to free trials. Itโs not worth giving them any more money, to be honest.)
(And in case you scrolled to the bottom quickly, I say it again, yes, I have autism and I had it all this time. Yet I was able to take criticism and respond to people, re-introduce parts that my fans loved and be fully original (for the most part). I know GoAnimate is crap, but it's a kinda crap that I have affection for... until the legacy's retirement, of course. Later.)
The legacy video maker's retirement has been somehow delayed, which is good news. Unfortunately, it'll be retired around the end of this week. This is your last chance to recover the old theme assets and backdrops. Gather the ID's of EVERY character you've created! Put them into a word document! Do anything you can to archive what would be destroyed later on! Good luck. Update: It may retire tomorrow (19th December), at the earliest. We're screwed if that happens.
*gulp* Here we are... December 16th. The legacy maker won't survive past this point, so my suggestion would be to fix any bugs that may have been in your videos to begin with because after today, we will never get another chance to fix them. Don't create any new videos and finish off the ones that you were working on previously. Hurry!!!
...and good luck.
Update: It's official. After contacting Vyond one last time, they have said that it is not possible to download videos directly from the legacy maker after its retirement. We'll have to screen-record 'em all, then. They were aware with the grounding videos, but they have switched their focus and didn't want to risk using Flash-related content anymore.

Hm... this looks like an achievement of some sort.

I shouldn't have to say this, but putting that in your opinion change at all instantly defeats the purpose of it existing, regardless of WHERE it's placed.

Moral of the story?
Doing so will not only break the respect of the website owner, but it will also break the respect of Vyond's copyright, and they will shut it down. Therefore, we shouldn't expose the link to any site containing the information otherwise crap like this will happen.
Brian ended up getting arrested and grounded until the LVM officially returns (it won't) by the FBI for violating the copyright law in the process.

R.I.P: The legacy video maker. (1st November 2007 - 19th December 2019)
Press F to pay respects. (Also, click "Read more")
~Upload schedule of my final legacy videos~
19/12/2019 - I get sent to the PL logo
Iโll probably make another video with the Vyond Studio that will explain my futureโฆ
Donโt worry, all my GoAnimate/Vyond videos will remain on this channel as an archive of how great GoAnimate/Vyond USED to be before the staff took down almost their entire site.

Update 2: It's gone.
