Denver-based artist KIMEAN crafts cinematic-pop that blends shimmering maximalist production with the intimacy of lilting soprano melodies. Drawing on her Cambodian and European heritage, she weaves stories of identity, generational trauma, and resilience into songs that feel both deeply personal and universally resonant.
A classically trained pianist and choir director, KIMEAN’s musical journey has taken her from performing at Notre-Dame Cathedral to intimate Sofar Sounds shows. Her upcoming debut single, American Girl, arriving September 2025, introduces her unique sound—a blend of vulnerability and power, rooted in her family’s refugee story and her own search for belonging.
