I get the comment usually once or twice a month (more if high-traffic times), but in case anyone was curious about my pronunciation of the word "Pokemon" - the word is Japanese, it has an accent over the 'e' and we can look to other languages as well, such as Spanish, that convey the 'e' with an accent mark is pronounced "eh" or "ay."
Poke-ay-mon/Poke-eh-mon is the intended (and correct) pronunciation of the word; definitely don't mind if you pronounce it differently, it's more just that I get comments about it often enough to write all this :)

For anyone who enjoyed those Remote Raid streams that used to regularly happen before the dreaded nerfing, obviously I'll still hold a raid stream if the bosses are brand new or highly-sought after en masse, but a great alternative for you is to enjoy the Patreon raid tier. For those that haven't seen it, here are the changes to Remote Raids from Niantic's blog site themselves - pokemongolive.com/post/remote-raid-passes-update-2…

Summary is:
* Remote Raid pass price is increasing
* There is a limit of 5 Remote Raids per day, per player
* You can get a free Remote Raid pass via the reward "pool" (so...is it certain? or just a CHANCE?), but it will be a Premium in-person pass if you have 3 or more Remote Raid passes already in your inventory... i.e., you'll want to be sure to get in your raids before redeeming your Research Breakthrough reward

Regarding my raid streams, they will continue, seems to be that most of the time the raid streams happen in the evening for Americans, late morning for Oceania, etc., but we usually stop raiding after about 4 gyms, so you still won't hit your limit. I will say, however, this means you'll need to consider how many raids you've done already that day *before* the stream went live, so as not to hit the limit while you're trying to raid on stream with us.

You should get loud and protest as much as you can/want, but they have already confirmed that they don't listen to people who use vitriol, threats of violence, or just complete nastiness to try and make a point, and I can honestly reason with that, so please make your protest constructive on their social medias and their support lines (email, in-game chat, etc., hit them all if you can).
One sigh of relief is that they had initially announced that there'd be lobby limits on Remote Raiders back when COVID Precautions first entered the game, so fortunately they don't seem to have enacted that, because otherwise the gym would've been limited going down from 10 to 5! This makes the streams more viable, to have the full lobby of 10, at least.

Had plans for so many Team GO Rocket videos from February 1st and on through the last several days. Everything was thwarted because most of the city lost power here for many days (some still without) in the freezing cold. My family was without power for about 76 hours, and then I got Strep Throat from being in the cold I guess? Either way, my voice is *almost* back (not quite) but Google Fiber, my internet service provider, has been down for almost four days now because of the outages - I have no idea when it will be restored, basically no communication from them.
Luckily the TGR Leaders are easy as sin to beat, but this also meant I couldn't do any raid stream or anything for Tapu Fini, maybe not for next rotation either unless this somehow all gets fixed soon. I hope everyone is doing well, because I am...not... lol... we'll see what happens! Thanks for your support!
