Last week, the Men’s team lifted the #Hockey_Asia_Cup_2025, while the Women’s team finished as runners-up, a testament to our rising dominance in the sport.
After years of grit and perseverance, our teams are finally stepping into their golden era and this is just the beginning.



Special credit to 𝗦𝗷𝗼𝗲𝗿𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗷𝗻𝗲, whose vision and leadership played a lion’s share in this transformation.


When Sjoerd Marijne took over as coach of the Indian Women’s Hockey Team, they were 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 in the world.


By 𝗧𝗼𝗸𝘆𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬, they had 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲, scripting one of the most inspiring turnarounds in Indian sports history.



The Sjoerd Effect wasn’t just about hockey, it was about #belief, #fitness, and #leadership:

1. India played a 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝟴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 at the Olympics
2. Fitness became the 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲
