🇨🇦 Mark Usherovich 2026: Cedar and Nomex doubletop over Indian rosewood, 648mm scale, 52mm nut, integrated armrest, Barnett tuners. At 1,315 grams it is a feather, yet notes explode off the string with no sustain compromise.
🇸🇪 Johannes Kitselis 2025, No. 89: Spruce doubletop with a Nomex core over Madagascar rosewood with a sapwood band. Raised fingerboard, small integrated armrest, Alessi tuners, treble side soundport. An open, woody voice with overtone rich, chunky medium weight basses.
🇺🇸 Gregory Miller 2024, No. 80: Cedar over Indian rosewood, 640mm scale, 53mm nut, side soundport, Klaus Scheller tuners, copper fret markers. Warm, round, and immediately responsive.

While the 1965 Rubio Ex. Julian Bream was a special piece and didn't last long, this one is at a much more affordable price point, has a great Rubio sound, and plays oh so easy!
David Rubio 1984, from his Cambridge period. Spruce over Indian rosewood, six fan bracing, old Rodgers tuners with beautiful engraving and kidney buttons. There is a looseness and an openness to it, a relaxed quality where the notes simply pour out of the box.

Daniel Friederich 1978, No. 476. Cedar over Indian rosewood, seven fan bracing, original Fustero tuners. One of our favorite guitars we have ever had our hands on. Crack free with surprisingly little nail wear, and the finish was professionally touched up some years ago.
A 1965 Fleta from the golden era, and it sounds like it. That famous bite in the bass, and because this one has a spruce top, a little more sparkle and shimmer up in the trebles than you usually get.
Spruce over CSA rosewood, nine fan bracing, original Fustero tuners still turning smoothly under their patina. The neck is comfortable and the action is low enough that it invites you to play anything on it.
Excellent condition, no cracks and no repairs, which is not a small thing for 1965. The top shows only minor marks.

🇨🇳 Hanson Yao 2026, N3: Cedar double top with a Nomex core over Brazilian rosewood, 640mm scale, Alessi tuners, French polish. Extremely loud, with remarkable sustain and an unusually wide palette of color. Yao trained at the China Academy of Art, then went to Spain in the early 2000s to learn construction directly from the Spanish school.
🇫🇷 Daniel Friederich 1978, No. 476: Cedar over Indian rosewood, seven fan bracing with cedar braces, original Fustero tuners. Lyrical trebles, explosive but controlled basses, and a responsiveness that makes music feel almost effortless. Completely crack free.
🇮🇹 Luigi Locatto 2011 "Garcia", No. 230: Spruce over CSA rosewood, seven fan bracing with extremely lightweight braces, custom Fustero tuners, and a rosette taken directly from Enrique Garcia's earlier instruments. A low main air resonance at F, in the tradition of Garcia, Simplicio and Torres, gives it a genuinely old world character.
🇪🇸 Ignacio Fleta 1965: Spruce over CSA rosewood, nine fan bracing, original Fustero tuners with their patina. The signature golden era Fleta sound with that famous bite in the bass, and a little more sparkle in the trebles because of the spruce top. No cracks and no repairs, which is not nothing for 1965.

This Michel Brück from 2019, No. 276, has a detail we have not seen on another guitar. The engraving on the center strip of the back is the view from outside Michel's home.
Cedar double top with a Nomex core over Brazilian rosewood, seven spruce fan braces, Brazilian rosewood bridge, and hand engraved Rodgers tuners with ebony buttons and white rollers. It weighs 1,435 grams, so it sits light in the hands.
This 1978 Friederich, No. 476, just came back to us, and it is one of our favorite guitars we have ever had our hands on.

Completely crack free, with surprisingly little nail wear for its age. The original finish carries the normal wear of decades of playing and was professionally touched up some years ago by a respected specialist.

Spruce over CSA rosewood, nine fan bracing, original Fustero tuners still turning smoothly under their patina. The neck is comfortable and the action is low enough that it invites you to play anything on it.
