The first set of course dates for 2026 have just gone live on the website mapreading.co.uk
BIG NEWS 😊 I have run many bespoke courses in this area but, for the first time, I’ve organised a publicly available course in - - - drum roll please - - - the Hadrian’s Wall area. This will be held around the Birdoswald Fort area. I'll get my history books out for this one.

I have a new camera. With the old one, whatever I tried I just couldn’t get the White Balance to stop changing, even when I set it to manual – so the colour of the sky/ground/etc. would continually change. The 3 videos I published yesterday were the first one’s filmed on the new camera and the WB stayed the same all the way through. So, good result.
This setup is totally waterproof, which in my working environment is important.
Insta360 Ace pro 2 (camera) + Insta360 Mic Air (microphone).
