Hi, I'm Tyler! I make videos about fictional universes, including Star Trek and other sci-fi media. Sometimes the real world too.

Hey everyone, sort of a random update. I've decided that I'm kind of tired of making Shorts at the moment. I've typically used them as advertisements for my regular videos, but besides announcements about my Star Trek: Endurance fan comic, I may stop posting them for the time being. I know lots of people don't like Shorts anyway lol. They were sold to us creators as tools to help us reach new viewers, but they are notoriously awful at encouraging people to subscribe, and they make next to no revenue. But hey, more time to focus on ACTUAL videos and streams! LLAP.

The supremely talented creator behind the "Sexy Tendi" figure in the background of my videos, ‪@beezsculpts‬, sent me a 3D printed figure of Samus from Metroid that he hand-painted! These photos hardly do justice the exceptional quality of work in this statuette by beez and sculptor Abe 3D. I'm proud to make it a permanent addition to my studio set. Check out his channel at the above link where you can watch the behind-the-scenes of how some of these figures are made!

Since I film lots of my videos weeks or months in advance of their release dates, besides the outro of my upcoming Cardassians supercut, you'll hopefully start seeing Samus in my background sometime this summer!

Initially set in the mid-23rd century before a time jump to the 32nd century, Discovery heralded a new era of the Star Trek franchise and has been incredibly divisive among fans. But what did it do right and wrong?
