I don't know about you, but I am ready for a change in season ☀️➡️🍂😍 Summer may be my favorite season, but I LOVE a pre-fall and fall color palette to switch things up.

Hello!!! Happy weekend to you! A little bts over here--I put myself on hiatus until I finished editing part four of the psychology of personal style 😉...

Happy Monday lovely creatives! 🌷 quick update.. I've started consolidating all of my random musings and bits of applicable research to get going on the psychology of personal style part four! It's been slightly delayed over here because of life and trying to get this prefall wardrobe up and running😉, but, part 4 is officially In. The. Works--hopefully I'll have it published in the next couple of weeks!

In the meantime, these have been some of my favorite memories of the summer! Getting flowers from the backyard, celebrating Hudson's first birthday, ha ha ha, and enjoying some peaceful living. Also, I recently picked up some gorgeous what I believe may be vintage Venetian glass bead necklaces from the thrift store. I am in love!

I hope you're well and have had a great summer 💐Here's to self expression, finding funky jewelry (or whatever lights YOU up at the thrift/vintage store), and enjoying life!

One of the dresses from my next sewing video! ✨

I had so much fun creating some (EaSY to sew) summer pieces--and I can’t wait to share all 3 easy summer dresses + 1 top with you very soon.

Also… I stepped outside my usual sewing content today and shared my fresh-faced skincare + everyday makeup routine. 💕 It was such a fun, relaxed video to film (shouldn't summertime be relaxed?!😅) and if you love a natural fresh faced approach to skin care and makeup, I hope you enjoy it!

All this to say...my next sewing video will be out very soon, but in the meantime, I hope you have a great Friday and are taking great care of yourself! 🌷🧵🪡

Hope you are having a great summer! ✨Life and non-Youtube work😉 snuck up on me and I needed to take a step back last week. However, I am so happy to let you know that I just put the finishing touches on the Psychology of Personal Style Part 3 and I'm hoping to get it published tomorrow!

On a different note, it's been sew much fun to break out the summer pieces I sewed up last year--and wear them out and about! Have you worn any of your favorites lately?

The Very Easy Vogue 9182 sewalong is out now! 💚And she is the most classic & timeless little summer dress if I do say so myself😄

The upcycled linen curtain panels made another appearance with this dress hehe..but stay tuned because she is going to get a dye job soon!

I'll definitely be sharing that process in a future video but for now, have a wonderful weekend and please let me know your thoughts on sewing up this pattern and how your version turned out if you decide to sew it!

Art imitating style...or is style imitating art? 💚 do you ever get a color stuck in your head?! Can you spot the one that's been in my mind? 😅

Amidst the creative flurry that has been happening over here, I am working on part 3 of the psychology of personal style🥳 (Really excited about this one. It's got me feeling like I'm back in grad school reading through journal articles on the impact of clothing...and I am here for it!😍).

Very Easy Vogue 9182 sewalong recording is in progress!!!

Here to report she is coming together like a dream (so far, I am definitely in agreement with the very easy rating😍)--and she's definitely going to be a quintessential summer dress!!!!

If all continues to go according to plan, I'm hoping to get this video out *late next week*! 😉

I feel like I blinked and it's already June 8th--so I'm going to get to work on creating this sewalong within (hopefully) the next 2 weeks so we can all enjoy our dresses for the remainder of the summer! 👗

If you are planning to sew this chic little number up, what kind of fabric are you thinking of using? I'd love to hear! Right now, I am leaning towards linen or a vintage cotton tablecloth😉, but we shall see👀
