When I think about the work I’ve been doing over the years, I realize it all falls under one major umbrella: economic development. When I went to Cleveland a while back, the woman hosting me said, “Hey, I want you to meet with someone from Economic Development.” I didn’t think much of it then — but today it hit me: This is exactly what I do. Every single day. When I work with nonprofits → economic development When I help entrepreneurs launch and scale → economic development When I teach digital equity and AI classes → economic development When we train justice-involved youth and give them real skills → economic development When we work on real estate, housing, and community projects → economic development This is the assignment God trusted me with — lifting communities through knowledge, strategy, and access. Tonight’s course on the Community Reinvestment Act is another extension of that work. The CRA was birthed out of Chicago, tied directly to redlining, and in 1977 the government said, “Enough.” Banks were required to invest back into the very communities they benefited from. And listen… it’s not just banks — but that’s a whole other class.
Tonight at 7 PM, we’re going deeper. I’m excited, because understanding CRA is understanding how systems, funding, and community power actually work.

Just left a virtual bank meeting and the doors opening right now are undeniable. 👀🔥
We sent a 5-page proposal an hour before the meeting and within five minutes she said,
“This is great. We just need to know “how much you need”— I’m making my plans for 2026.
I asked, “What do you usually start with for new partnerships?” She said,
“Typically $10K–$25K, but it can move based on what you’re offering.”
Then she added,
“Can you have this to us by December 17th? I want to see how we can work you in.”
One meeting. One bank. One conversation. Favor.
And I don’t even bank with them — that’s how you know it’s God.
I also believe He’s using me to show you the strategy. My mentor mentioned CRA earlier this year, but I didn’t truly learn it until after our fast — three weeks ago and the acceleration since then has been supernatural.
Community Reinvestment Act for the WIN. This is exactly what tomorrow’s class is about — two hours with someone who actually works in the bank and distributes the money. You’re not getting this just anywhere.
