Today's video is one I actually filmed back in the spring of this year. A short story about how I was shamed by a stranger for crying in public, telling me that I needed to "be strong." It was in this moment that I realized exactly what strength means to me, and when I started to reclaim my definition of it.
If you're a sensitive soul like me, please know that your sensitivity is not at all a weakness in any way. In fact, it's actually your greatest strength and gift to share with this world. It's time we start changing society's definition of strength. Because the more you give yourself permission to feel, the more you allow others to do the same. And that creates a healing ripple effect far beyond what you can imagine.
