Do you know the history of Hemkunt sahib ji?

If you don't, read this!

Firstly Hemkunt sahib ji is a gurudwara in Uttarakhand (India).
In satyug guru ji was doing tapasya (meditation) on this hill. God came to meet him and told him "you are a part of me, there is no difference in me and you, we are the same. I want you to go to kalyug and establish such a community that is deeply connected to me, that fears nobody, that stands against oppression, that in which each one is as strong as a whole army and that is pure with any inequality " guru ji agreed. He came to kalyug. He became the 10th guru sahib of sikhism and in 1699 he established Khalsa. The same as God told guru ji to create.The khals in khalsa stands for pure, guru ji gave the surnames "Singh" and "kaur" to all who were in khalsa. Guru ji wrote a granth named "Dasam Granth". In the granth he wrote everything about his past life, how to deal with kaam, krodh, lobh, moh and ahankaar, he wrote Bir kaav (poetry that fills one with strength and power to fight). Everything!

Now in 1934 a sikh philosopher sant sohan singh ji while reading dasan granth sahib ji read about hemkunt sahib. Guru ji had written the location of Hemkunt sahib and also that it was the satyugi tap asthan. Sohan Singh ji went on a challenge to find the location and he did he built a gurudwara there that was later named as Hemkunt sahib. Named hemkunt because in sanskrit "hem" means snow and "kunt" means lake so they together mean lake of snow. Hemkunt sahib ji is surrounded by 7 hills and each one of that hill has a nishan sahib (the flag of khalsa). People trek many miles to get there and I also want to visit there.
