Two years ago, little Martini celebrated her very first Independence Day.
Today, she’s surrounded by the family that grew from one rescued duck into a peaceful backyard sanctuary.
I’m so grateful I get to share this journey with all of you.

🦆❤️ Peace looks good on them.
Sometimes a little more space changes everything.
The boys still see each other every day, “talk” through the fence, and enjoy being part of one family… but now everyone has room to relax.

A week ago, there were 12 little ducklings. 🐥🐥🐥
Today, only one remains.
The two moms never left each other’s side through it all. ❤️
This is one of the hardest realities of raising ducklings, but it’s also a story of love, care, and staying together no matter what.
