Going to miss these guys next year.
Pre-op for inguinal hernia sept 8. Surgery Sept 16. Consultation for hiatil hernia sept 8. Then figure out what to do.

My stomach pushes on my heart if I bend over. I put a fitted sheet on my bed last week. Passed out briefly from my blood pressure dropping. Took a few hours for it to come back and to be able to breathe ok.

I am streaming on Twitch a bit. Just can't do much else at the moment. Im not writing tutorials currently as I may not be able to finish them once I start them due to frequent health things. Once I get all of this taken care of, I'll definitely be creating edited content again. Im motivated for it. My body just isn't. I've been spending a lot of time when not streaming, making calls, and handling stuff for both health and trying to get ready to move out and hopefully be able to afford a small place next Spring.

That's the update. Thank you folks for hanging around and everyone whose been supporting me/gamerpoets in various ways. Will update again after surgery.

If it wasn't for bad luck lol... spent Saturday night in the hospital. Hiatil hernia was beyond painful. Then I caught something while I was there, came home sick as dirt lol.

When I feel better, I'll be streaming again on YouTube and Twitch full time. Edited content not forgotten. In my downtime, I've been looking for new places to live while trying to figure out how much I can afford and all the other next moves for this new chapter.

Where have I been?

A lot of self care 🙂

After 13 years of being with an awesome woman, we decided to split apart. She's a truly amazing human. We have simply grown apart a bit and have different life goals. There's a lot to adjust to.

Ive also recently acquired my second inguinal hernia. Had surgery a couple of years ago for the first one. Ill be limping around until I get surgery for this one (likely 8 to 12 months until they can get me in).

After nearly 10 years with my therapist, insurance no longer covers the full cost of appointments, and I can't afford the difference. So that's been a thing, too.

GamerPoets isn't going anywhere. I've just been having a difficult adjustment period to a strange new life :) Streaming and video creation should resume within the next week.

I did finally hangout with an old friend for the first time in forever. That was nice. I hope you are all doing well. I'll see you soon 😊

I'll be playing it start to finish (almost daily) without mods.... and then I'll be building a load order as mods are released, which will be follow-able step by step on my site moddingmyway.com/ once modding begins.

The first, full, text modding guide is on the site moddingmyway.com/daysgone/. A handful of Video Tutorials/Mod Showcases to come for Days Gone.

I'll be completing mod guides for the games I play on Twitch as I play them. I'm back streaming and creating full time. www.twitch.tv/gamerpoets . I'm also looking into cross-streaming to YouTube.

I plan to chip away at guides for Elder Scrolls and Fallout in-between the "easier-to-mod" games. Currently I have a bit of interest in Morrowind. I will figure out some type of schedule to dedicate time to TES/FO stuff. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle that yet, but I'm getting closer. I need to adjust to doing this stuff full time again and figure out breaks/days off and see how things progress.

What I've decided to do is reboot the "5Mods" series as it was managable, and it seemed to be received well. Again, videos won't be overly cinematic (for me). They will be informative and to the point. I'll be doing this for various games, including TES. It will be a couple of weeks while I figure out thumbnail/video formats and workflow. Then I'll get producing and see if you like it. See you soon ish 🎅
