Across the pond and back: Ever so British Abroad

Hi, I'm Stephanie and I'm a British born dual UK/USA citizen, a recent widow, a teacher for over 20 years and love the Lord Jesus and the Florida sunshine! I was an expat in the USA for 10 years, then became a citizen, moved back to UK and lived there for 2 1/2 years before seeing that "My England" was disappearing fast! My youngest adult son and I decided to move back to Florida and now have relocated again for my Ever so British Second Act across the pond and back!

There’s no luxury or pretending everything is perfect. Just real experiences and building my second act one step at a time.

This is a question for my UK based subscribers:

I'm wondering if youn have noticed a reduction of my videos appearing on the home page or on the search results? Are you are still able to see my videos and if so, do you think exposure is limited now Im in the states?

Enjoying a meet up of my dear friend of over 20 years!

We had a blast (pun intended!) at the 5K run/walk event in Pensacola yesterday! This pic was taken by one of the enacters wives which captures the blast really well!

Hi to My Across the Pond susbcribers! I would like to know what you think about the newer channel name? Please give me your input as soon as is convenient for you as its very important to me that you continue to enjoy the channel..

Please vote

Yes if you feel that its a good change including the. newer content as well as Expat chat?

OR

NO if you feel that it should stay as Across the pond and back with the newer content and always the expat chat?

Hi everyone 💛

If you noticed the new name and banner — yes, the channel has been rebranded. But it’s still me.

I changed the name to better reflect the conversations I’ve naturally been having here — about second acts, starting over, and figuring things out after 50.

Nothing important has changed. Same voice. Same honesty. Just a clearer direction.

If you’ve been here for a while, thank you. I’m really glad you’re still here for this next chapter, my second act! Our second acts don't necessarily mean huge events. They can be smaller events but either way, it definelty isn't too late for you to start a business, get married or relocate if your situation allows.

Hi, I'm planning on making a video about some of my experiences in class teaching in Florida as opposed to class teaching in England, UK. Would that be of interest to viewers?

While I'm here, please let me know if there are any topics that you would like to see me cover? Thanks.
