I’ve been out to this road in San Jose more times than I can count over the last few years. We keep coming back because something always happens. Weird activity, strange energy, full-on crazy experiences. It’s the kind of place that sticks with you.
The urban legends, ghost stories, and folklore around this area are wild. Hicks Road has a reputation. From the infamous blood albinos to satanic cult rumors and beyond. I’ve been documenting it all, piece by piece, visit after visit. Now I’m writing a book about it.
It’ll dig into the local legends, the history, and the stories people whisper. But it’s also about being there. Putting myself in the middle of it. A kind of gonzo folklorist approach. Part investigation, part personal experience, part boots-on-the-ground myth-chasing.
I’ve got one more trip planned next month. One last dive into the weird. Then I’ll wrap the book. Thanks for following along.
