Dubai’r Burj Khalifa সম্প্রতি আবারও Gandhi Ji’r ছবি দেখাল… আর এটা শুধু এইবার না — প্রায় সব international event-এ, movies-এ, posters-এ, politician-দের lectures-এ আমরা India’r “brand ambassador” হিসেবে প্রায় সব সময়ই শুধু Mahatma Gandhi-কে দেখি।
এখন, ভুল বুঝো না — আমি ১০০% মানি, Gandhi Ji ছিলেন একজন অসাধারণ দেশপ্রেমিক, স্বাধীনতার জন্য উনি অনেক করেছেন। কিন্তু… কেন শুধু উনিই? তাহলে Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose কোথায়? Bhagat Singh, Khudiram Bose, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Chandrashekhar Azad, Rani Lakshmibai, Veer Savarkar, Mangal Pandey, Begum Hazrat Mahal, Tantia Tope, APJ Abdul Kalam, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bipin Chandra Pal, Bal Gangadhar Tilak ইত্যাদি — এরা কি ভারতের ইতিহাসে কোন কম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ? etc.
যদি Burj Khalifa বা অন্য কোনো international platform সত্যি ভারতের freedom fighters-দের সম্মান দেখাতে চায়, তাহলে শুধু একজনের ছবি দেখিয়ে “India” বলা উচিত না — সবাইকে mention করতে হবে। আর যদি সেটা করা সম্ভব না হয়, তাহলে কারো ছবি না দেখানোই ভালো।
কারণ সত্যি বলতে — Gandhi Ji এখন এমনিতেই সব জায়গায় আছেন — Indian currency note-এ, school বইতে, speeches-এ, everywhere! হ্যাঁ, উনি deserved respect পান, কিন্তু বাকি মহান দেশপ্রেমিকদেরও সমান সম্মান পাওয়ার অধিকার আছে।
History balanced হলে তবেই future balanced হবে।
