Last weekend we celebrated Walter’s birthday by having Stabbing Westward play the USA’s largest rock festival Louder Than Life! We have a video coming on Friday that covers the festival including backstage, and hanging out with the fans.

What’s in our future?
We wanted to let you know what we have coming up. Our BIG trip this year is in a few weeks when we head overseas to the land of the rising sun. This will be Walter’s first trip to Japan. When we found out Star Wars Celebration was going to be in Tokyo, we decided we just HAD to go. Not only will we be covering 3 days at the convention, we will also go sightseeing in Tokyo. We have a side trip to Kyoto where we are excited to see a Geisha show. And of course no trip to Tokyo for us would be complete without a trip to Disneyland!
Speaking of theme parks, we will be headed to Universal’s new park Epic Universe! Noel is especially excited for Dark Universe which is dedicated to classic movie monsters. Also with monsters in mind we will be going back to film Halloween Horror Nights. Locally Six Flags opens a new coaster (no promises that Noel will be riding it though). And of course I’m sure we will try to squeeze Disney in there somewhere….after all they have a new Villains show opening at Hollywood Studios.
We have some music inspired trips…another Dark Force Fest but this time Walter is not playing so we can relax and just enjoy it. Speaking of Walter playing…we will be getting some footage before/after Stabbing Westward plays at Louder Then Life.
Last but not least are a couple of weekend cruises. We have to take advantage of Walter’s casino status. One trip we plan on hitting Thrill Island on Coco Cay. And the other cruise included passes to hideaway beach.
If we have time/money we might try to hit the road for a weekend road trip here and there.

Noel attempted to survive a 4 night cruise on Enchantment of the Seas without spending any extra money on board the ship. That means no drink package (or buying any drinks), no specialty coffee, no specialty dining…. Did she do it? Or did she cave in for the Super Bowl? Check out the new video to find out!
