St.Kitts&Nevis CBI Program Review

Our mission is to shed light on the unlawful actions of the St. Kitts and Nevis government, in particular, of its Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU).

St.Kitts&Nevis CBI Program Review

Even applications from families who had already received certificates of registration in the St. Kitts and Nevis citizenship database were unlawfully and retroactively cancelled:

"We applied for the Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programme in 2021, received our Certificates of Registration (CORs) in 2022, and paid the full amount requested by the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU). It is now 2025, and we have yet to receive our passports—or even a meaningful update from the authorities.

What’s most troubling is that, under the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship Act, individuals who have been granted CORs are already recognized as citizens. That means we are legally citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis, yet we are being denied the rights and documentation that come with that status. This is a clear case of discrimination against new citizens.

The government is fully aware of the issue. I have followed up repeatedly over the years, only to be met with vague reassurances, delays, and broken promises. Our time and trust have been repeatedly disregarded.

Thank you for finally bringing this matter to public attention. This conversation is long overdue, and action is urgently needed to address this injustice."
