Hi Everyone,
As you know from the last post, this has been an incredibly trying and challenging time for us.
Andrea has been in the hospital now for about 3 months. Her diagnosis is MDS a type of blood cancer. She has received treatments, but this hospital can’t take her care to the next level.
We need to move her to a better more capable facility, however insurance will not cover the transfer out of state so we need to do this on our own.
I will post a link for a go fund me I have started to help pay for this critical move.
We want to express our deepest gratitude for those who have already donated for this important step.
A very special thanks to our family for fighting with insurance companies, liaising with case managers and contacting hospitals to get the ball rolling so I can stay by Andreas side and keep her strong.
Andrea is my best friend, the love of my life, my absolute everything and will do anything to get her back on her feet again.
Sharing this post and the go fund me link will really really help us out and get Andrea the care and treatments this amazing woman deserves!

Update.
Hello everyone, as you know Andrea and I are very private people, but felt like in this instance an exemption could be made. For Thanksgiving and Christmas, we made plans to visit my family, shortly after arriving Andrea fell quite ill. After several weeks of trial, error and rest she began to make a slow recovery. After making our way back out onto the road, certain symptoms seemed to persist and we decided to just take it easy for a while.
Over the last month Andrea began to deteriorate, trips to the urgent care didn’t seem to offer any benefit and her symptoms came back with a vengeance, which all came to a head about a week ago.
Andrea in a frail voice asked to go to the hospital and shortly after became unresponsive. I rushed her to the E.R. where they began running test and starting blood transfusions. I was told she needed to be air lifted to the nearest medical centre for further testing and to save her life. She was on her death bed and needed to be admitted.
Andrea, very nearly died on me, another hour and she would no longer be here. I can’t bare the thought of it. She has made a recovery, but it will take some time to get back to normal. Currently we are just treating each day together as a gift, and slowly making progress to get Andrea fully back on her feet.
What does this all mean for the channel. We crammed as much filming as possible in before Thanksgiving, which means we still have several months of videos to come out on Tuesdays as normal. Beyond that, to be honest, I don’t know. My focus is solely on making sure Andrea is well and stays well. During this time we are stepping away from YouTube and focusing on recovery and enjoying our moments together.
We want to express our deepest gratitude for all of the support all of you have given us of the last four plus years. The support of our family, close friends, Dustin, Jen, Jenni Gives, Tim and Leah and Richard Bee, We love you all!
As they say, this isn’t goodbye, but see you down the road.
