Today, the team behind Galactic Defense Force proudly presents the work of cdownink ❤️

This illustration won 3rd place in our first official Art Contest. I am blown away by how many creators came together to make fanart of a show that doesn’t even exist yet! But there are lots of other awesome projects out there, so it was important to me that contest winners would receive the opportunity to share one of their other favorite indie projects with our audience!

Chris’ recommendation: El Guapo vs The Narco Vampires 🔥

This 40-minute pilot was created by the legendary Jorge R. Gutierrez (mexopolis ), available to watch on YouTube. The pilot features a some beautiful animation and a wild story from start to finish. Definitely one of the most entertaining pilots I’ve seen in a long time, it’s a labor of love from the whole team.

Big things are coming to GDF!

We’re in the early stages of creating something much larger than our YouTube animations, it is by far the biggest project I’ve ever produced. This means that our weekly videos will be posted less frequently, but I think fans will be really happy with the news. Stay tuned for updates as developments progress!

Thank you to everyone who joined our art contest! To choose the winners, we had the entire cast and crew vote on their favorite pieces. In the end, these three pieces came out on top, but it was a VERY close call!

We all loved different pieces and all of the artwork was incredible, it blew me away. I tried my best to leave a comment on every single post.
