📖 Key Text:
Romans 8:38–39
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life… nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Introduction: Have You Ever Felt Unloved?

Have you ever felt:
Forgotten?
Replaced?
Not enough?

Maybe someone you trusted walked away…
Maybe love was promised but not kept…
Maybe you gave your all and still felt empty.

The truth is: human love can fail.
But today, I want to remind you of a love that never fails, never fades, and never lets go—God’s love.

1. God’s Love Is Unconditional

📖 Romans 5:8
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

God didn’t wait for you to be perfect.

He didn’t say:

“Fix yourself first.”
“Be worthy first.”
“Try harder first.”

No.
He loved you at your worst.

👉 When you were broken… He loved you.
👉 When you were far from Him… He loved you.
Even when you ignored Him… He loved you.

Illustration:
Like a mother who still embraces her child no matter how dirty they come home—
God doesn’t push you away.
He pulls you closer.

2. God’s Love Meets Us in Our Pain

Psalm 34:18
"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

God’s love is not distant; it is present.

When you cry at night…
When no one understands you…
When your heart is breaking silently…

God is there. Not judging. Not condemning. But comforting.

Relatable Truth:
Sometimes people say, “Be strong.”
But God says, “Come to Me when you are weak.”

3. God’s Love Was Proven at the Cross

📖 John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…"

Love is not just words. Love is sacrifice.

At the cross:
Jesus took your place
Carried your sins
Endured your punishment

Not because you forced Him…But because He chose you.

The cross is heaven shouting: “You are worth everything to Me!”

4. God’s Love Never Changes

📖 Malachi 3:6
"For I am the Lord, I change not."

People change.
Feelings change.
Situations change.

But God’s love? It stays the same.

Even when:
You fall again
You doubt
You feel far away

God doesn’t say, “I’m done with you.”

Instead, He says:
“Come back. I still love you.”

5. God’s Love Transforms Us

📖 1 John 4:19
"We love Him, because He first loved us."

When you truly experience God’s love:

You forgive easier
You love deeper
You become kinder
You find peace

Because you cannot receive real love and remain the same.

Application: What Should We Do With This Love?
Accept it – Stop running. Stop doubting. God loves YOU.
Rest in it – You don’t have to prove yourself.
Share it – Love your family, your spouse, your children the way God loves you.
Appeal: Come Back to Love

Maybe today:

You feel distant from God
You feel unworthy
You feel forgotten

But listen carefully…

👉 God is not far from you.
👉 He has never stopped loving you.
👉 And He is calling you back right now.

His love is not just for “good people.”
It is for you.

Prayer

“Lord, thank You for loving us even when we don’t deserve it.
When we feel broken, remind us that Your love is still holding us.
Help us accept Your love, live in it, and share it with others.
Bring us back to You today.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
