It's nearly Thanksgiving (here in the US), gardenerds. Are you growing this fall/winter? We just finished seeding and transplanting everything out, ourselves. Just in time for a ton of rain!
The end of November is typically when we plant bulbs. It's also not too late to plant garlic, onions, and shallots. Will you be planting bulbs this season? Share your favorites below.

Hey gardenerds! Just a quick post to say that I'm taking a little break from producing YouTube videos this month while I work on a big project. More on this soon, and more videos in time for fall planting in October. Stay cool out there!

Happy September, gardenerds! Is it still too hot to plant fall crops where you live? That's true here in LA. We'll be planting seeds for brassicas indoors soon, but it won't be cool enough to plant them out until late October or early November. Such is the way in the southwest. What's your schedule? Share your plans for fall here.

As the first ripe tomato appears on the vine, we're heading out on a backpacking trip. Does this ever happen to you? How do you manage your garden while you're away? Do you feel its pull while you're gone?

If you were wondering if the Simple and Safe Pest Control Hack really works. Here's proof! This is the raised bed planted with a shelling pea cover crop. The section on the left is unprotected, and the rest of the bed is enclosed a la our pest control hack. The difference if visible now that it's been a couple weeks. The left side has been nibbled repeatedly, but the right is untouched and growing happily! Use this trick in your own garden now. It works. https://youtu.be/Gz3BZrbrNWI?si=TfyIj...
