I had some concerns relating to the materials I used. I had several of you bring it to my attention that even with encasing the mdf in resin that its probably not the best idea. So in the last 24 hours I completely tore down and rebuilt the rear end better and stronger with marine grade plywood encased in fiberglass. Keep in mind this car is a learning process and im not a professional. If there is legitamate concern, I'm not afraid to redo it. 3rd times the charm!
as you can see clearly in this photo and most other bosozoku cars the flare is sitting over the rear door with the door handle and gap still factory. this is how I intend on doing it with my car.
