NINE YEARS ago today I had no clue how that one upload would change my life forever. A lot of sacrifices and hard work have gone into making this dream happen - more than anyone realizes. I’m not just talking about the obvious like what goes into producing a video but the ACTUAL WORK required to be in it for the long haul: changing lifelong habits, learning new skills on the fly (often with little guidance), adapting to new environments, going against the grain, adopting innovative ways of thinking, forging a personal path while trusting God in the process, stepping out of comfort zones time and again, and all the internal struggles that happen along the way. ✨
I may not have always gotten things right AND much of what I’ve done hasn’t worked in the way I wanted or in a way that makes sense to others. BUT, that’s ok. I’m right where I’m supposed to be 9 years after starting.
Thank you for being a HUGE part of my journey, sightseers! Without you there would be no SightseeingSally. 🫶🏻

Class is *officially* in session sightseers! I’m working on a new project, one that I think you’ll find enlightening. Don’t worry, I haven’t given up storytelling & adventuring just yet. Don’t come at me saying I need to do better research while parroting lyrics from a song as your proof. Not everything on the internet is true and just because ChatGPT says so doesn’t make it so. I’ve been doing research for more than 20 years. I trust the sources I use - like honest to goodness real books - more than I do AI, Google, or the internet.
Furthermore, I strive to share accurate information. Will I ever miss something or make a mistake? Absolutely. And I have no problem admitting it when that happens. But don’t expect me to take your feedback seriously when I can tell that all you did was a quick search of the internet while I did my due diligence and actually researched the topic.

Hey sightseers✨ A few of you have been asking if I’m ok and/or when I’ll be releasing our next episode. Quite honestly, I don’t know how to answer that. Lately I’ve been struggling internally with some important decisions. While I don’t care to share what’s going on in my mind at this point, I will say that I’ve needed a bit of breathing room to wrap my head around stuff.

In the meantime, if you’re jonesing for some SightseeingSally head over to our YouTube channel and watch a couple oldies. We’ve got over 450 long form episodes available to watch!!! Yeah, some are cheesy 🧀 no doubt but hey, what do you expect from a couple of Wisconsinites?

For those of you who have already watched all our videos several times over, don’t despair! I am making plans for our next great storytelling adventure.
