Thierno Barry has officially signed for Everton, putting pen to paper on a four-year deal. The 22-year-old striker arrives from Villarreal in a deal worth around £27 million, despite having a £34 million release clause.
Speaking to Everton TV, Barry expressed his excitement: "I'm very happy to be here. It's an exciting time and I can't wait to get started."
Barry, who grew up watching Everton legends like Wayne Rooney and Romelu Lukaku, said joining the club was a big moment for him: "Everton is a big club with great history. I watched players like Rooney and Lukaku when I was young – now I want to follow in their footsteps."
He also praised manager David Moyes for helping him make the decision: "We had some really good conversations. He told me I have the quality to play in the Premier League and that he wants to work closely with me. I felt his sincerity, and that made me want to come here."

I am going to be trying my hand again at behind the camera work for the next 2 games
I am doing Pre-match for Sheffield United and post match for Arsenal. The reason for this is when the stadium is complete I don't want the channel to finish so I will be doing Pre-match from the start of the next season and post match when the stadium is finished.
