Biochemistry with a Touch of Home. 🇳🇬
Welcome! I’m a Nigerian Biochemist and a Mom, and I believe that the "hardest" subject in school is just a story that hasn’t been told correctly yet.
On Adaora Chinyere TV, I take the complex molecular world—from the chemistry of the food we eat to the pathways in our DNA—and break it down with the clarity and patience only a mother can provide. No face, just focused, high-quality visuals designed to help you succeed.

New faceless biochemistry breakdowns are officially on the way.

I’m finalizing the next script right now, but I want to hear from you first.

😳 What Is Semen Really Made Of? (Most People Don’t Know!)

Many people think semen is only sperm, but that is false. Sperm makes up just a small percentage of semen. The rest is made of special fluids from the male reproductive system that help sperm survive and move.

✅ About 95% is fluid
✅ Only 1–5% is sperm cells
✅ Contains water
✅ Fructose (natural sugar for energy)
✅ Proteins
✅ Zinc
✅ Enzymes

💡 Fun Fact: Most of semen is NOT sperm. It is a nutrient-rich transport fluid designed to protect and carry sperm.

The human body is truly amazing.

Reduce or Stop Eating These 3 Things or Your Hormones Will Crash! 🚨

My people, listen carefully! 😱

If you’re always tired, your period is irregular, you’re adding belly fat, getting pimples as an adult, or your libido has disappeared... it might not be just "stress.

It could be the things you eat every single day destroying your hormones!

Stop or drastically reduce these 3 popular Naija things:

Noodles: they are full of preservatives, TBHQ, high sodium and plastic chemicals (BPA) that act like fake estrogen in your body. Eating it too often = hormonal chaos, weight gain and fertility issues.

Sugary Drinks: One bottle of soft drink spikes your insulin and cortisol like crazy. Too much sugar = estrogen dominance, PCOS symptoms, tiredness and stubborn fat around the waist.

Excess Processed meats:
That evening grilled meat is sweet, but the hormones injected into the animals + the way it's grilled creates compounds that mess with your own hormones. Too much = estrogen overload in women and testosterone drop in men.

If you can't go 'cold-turkey', you can reduce the number of times you eat them in a week. Then cut them off completely

Healthier alternatives:
Cook fresh food at home (swallow, soup, yam, beans, eggs, fish, vegetables)
Drink water, zobo, or lemon water instead of soft drinks
Eat grilled meat once in a while, not every day
Add more ginger, garlic, turmeric, ugu, and bitter leaf – natural hormone balancers!

Who else is ready to protect their hormones this year? Drop "HORMONES" in the comment if you're stopping these things! 👇

New video dropping soon — and this one is going to change how you think about your nose.

You know how you spray your perfume in the morning, smell it for a second, and then it just... vanishes? But everyone around you can still smell it all day?

That's not your perfume fading.
That's your brain tuning it out.

It's called olfactory adaptation or olfactory fatigue— and it's one of the most fascinating things your nervous system does without telling you.

In the video, I'll break down:
→ Why your scent receptors stop firing after a few minutes
→ How your brain deliberately filters familiar smells
→ The simple trick to reset your nose instantly (hint: coffee beans)

This is science that actually explains something you experience every single day.

Drop a comment — have you ever over-sprayed your perfume because you couldn't smell it anymore? 👇

Video is live soon. Turn on notifications so you don't miss it.

April is coming with a bang 🤓

There is a biological product for newborn that has been in existence. Newborns don’t need large quantities at first…

Because this first ‘meal’ is extremely concentrated in:
🧬 Proteins
🛡️ Antibodies
⚡ Bioactive molecules

Small volume. Massive biological impact.

What is the name and
Why is that? 👀

Tune in this evening 7.00pm WAT

Hello Fam, we are approaching the week and month end. I hope the month was good to you.

I had an unpleasant experience which reminded me of biochemistry.
I begged my favorite butcher in the market to give me male chevon. But I ended up getting female.

I boiled this goat meat for 1 hour and it was still tough as tire.

I thought the meat was old. Actually, meat had tough collagen fibers. I remembered the video I posted here about ways to tenderize foods

youtube.com/shorts/Q1mC_CecdM...

Slow, low heat turns collagen into gelatin, making meat tender. High heat just tightens the fibers.

So I began to simmer on low, lid on, after adding some natural tenderizers and the meat got done 🤣.

What’s your secret for tender meat — low heat, pressure pot, or something else?

Drop it below 👇

“If you’re always tired or having headaches in this heat… it might just be dehydration 👀

”This heat is not smiling at anybody
Your body is losing water constantly… even without sweating much.

So when exactly should you drink water?

👉 1. Immediately after waking up 🌅
Your body has been without water all night — rehydrate first thing.

👉 2. Before going out in the sun ☀️
Don’t wait till you’re thirsty… prepare your body ahead.

👉 3. During the day (small sips, not once)
Drinking too much at once is not as effective as steady hydration.👉

4. After sweating 💦
You’ve lost water + salt — your body needs it back.

👉 5. Before bed (small amount) 🌙
Keeps your body balanced overnight.

Good morning My People
