Nearly every species of crocodilians, giant reptiles, exotic birds, and fun-loving mammals; all right up the road from downtown St Augustine, Florida. We've been around for over 130 years, and one of the oldest attractions in Florida. Established in 1893, then moved to our current location in 1920, we've grown from only showing impressive American alligators to becoming an AZA-accredited facility with many conservation programs happening at the Zoo and around the world. To take the adventure to the next level, we also have our Crocodile Crossing Aerial Adventure course: zipping over crocodiles and exploring the Zoo from above!

You’re NOT going to believe what happened in the Native Bird Rookery: (Here’s context for the recent Shorts) Last week, a huge branch with Wood Stork nests and big baby birds, fell on the Native Rookery boardwalk. Thankfully, no one was hurt and our team jumped into action to help these baby Wood Storks.
We created a temporary nest platform, and Gen (General Curator) with the help of Jim (Curator of Reptiles), Ryan (Maintenance Supervisor) and his team, relocated the nests and baby Wood Storks.
