We have something beautiful to share 🤍
Earlier this year, he proposed as a symbol of newness and growth in our faith. A reminder that we chose to follow Jesus together. We’ve been together since we were 15 and 17, high school sweethearts who met at church. Over the years, we drifted from our faith for a while, but God’s grace brought us back.
As a renewal of our relationship with Him, we decided to re-wait for marriage and honour God in the way we live. We chose to have a small, intimate elopement on October 15, 2025. Not because we didn’t want others there, but because we wanted this moment to be a sacred reconciliation between us and God.
Some may see it as “rushed” or wonder why it was so private, but for us, it was about obedience and alignment. We wanted to stop living in sin and start living fully in God’s will.
Jesus saved us and restored our relationship, not just with each other, but with Him. This elopement was our way of saying yes to that calling.
Soon, we’ll celebrate with a grand wedding surrounded by everyone we love, but for now, this was our quiet beginning. Just us and God.
