Timing Is Everything.
Dogs don’t learn later.
They learn in the moment.
Whether you’re:
• setting a boundary
• reinforcing calm
• rewarding a good choice
👉 timing, paired with the right outcome, is what creates understanding.
The clearer and more immediate the timing and the reward:
• the faster the learning
• the less confusion
• the stronger the connection
When timing is late, inconsistent, or disconnected from the moment, even good rewards lose their meaning.
Great timing + appropriate reinforcement = clear communication.
That’s how dogs truly understand us.

The hair? Questionable.

The experience? Absolutely iconic.
This was one of the very first times I ever did anything on TV, and looking back now, it’s wild to see where the journey started. Same love for dogs, same passion — just fewer gray hairs and very different styling choices 😅
