i've had a lot of stuff to do this week (mainly with college finals), so i didn't have a lot of time to work on the uty video

While I don't usually discuss ROBLOX drama in my community posts since that's not what this channel's focused on, I feel it's important to spread awareness on this as it's gonna affect ALL games, not just ULC or UJD.

If you guys weren't aware, ROBLOX is releasing this update on either December or January, depending on where you live. It's gonna affect how chatting works, so I'd recommend looking into it and forming your own opinions.

The semi-tl;dr is that ROBLOX is going to require you to verify to access chat by either scanning your face or your ID. Then, depending on your age group (seen in the second image), you'll only be able to chat with players around your age group. For example, if you're 18, you'll only be able to chat with people who are 16-20 years old. This doesn't seem to apply to trusted friends, which are added through QR Code scanning and through phone contacts.

You can only access links such as Discord or YouTube links if you're verified to be 13+, and developers for games whose owner is within a separate age group may not be able to even work on their games anymore.

What are my opinions about all of this? Well... Let's just say that everything I could say has already been said by others, and I probably wouldn't bring much new to the table by mentioning them here.

What I CAN say, though, is that if it's anything like the audio privating that occurred back in 2022, they're likely not going to revert this. After all, they're getting pinned against the wall on repeat thanks to (justifiable) lawsuits against the company for child safety. They definitely don't want to lose even more money, so it looks like they're going to take the route of making drastic changes in order to prevent this from happening, and may stick with it like last time.



for those concerned about this channel, dw, this won't affect my content in any way. i can still make funni roblox Sans vs Chara videos despite all of this :)
