UPDATE TIME! TLDR: I'm alive, and videos will resume soon!

Jumping right into it, what have I been working on, and when will I upload? The Breaking Bad (and Better Call Saul) tier lists and retrospectives will continue, and I have been working on them since the Krazy-8 upload. Brba Season 4 Part 1 is going to be my next video. It’s in the late stages and will be out soon. I also have Brba & Bcs character retrospectives lined up to do in between the rest of the season tier list videos.

I’ve been simultaneously working on tier list retrospectives for a handful of other shows too, some of which I already have entire scripts finished and the audio commentary recorded for. I will cover the new Amazon Fallout show, The Boys, Invincible, The Last of Us, and more that I haven’t yet begun working on.

I’ve had videos in the works all year, but since it’s taking me so long to actually upload, I wanted to catch you all up to speed on what’s been going on regarding my content and this unplanned hiatus. I apologize for leaving you all in the dark, it was never my intention. I have been working on videos throughout the entire year, I just haven’t fully completed one yet.

I have realized that these other shows should not and will not impede the Brba and Bcs videos in the future. Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul will always be my priorities, with these other shows being side projects in between.

I see all the comments asking when’s the next video or where I am, and I really appreciate it. From YouTube and Twitter to even Patreon or Instagram, the constant support I see on old videos really does mean the world to me. Whether it’s people enjoying the videos for the first time or returning viewers asking where I am or when the next video is. The notifications of those comments kept motivating me during times of burnout or writer’s block, so thank you. I love doing this and it means so much that people care enough to watch and are genuinely excited for the next video.

I never liked doing channel updates in videos because I feel like it bogs down and dates a video in a tacky way, and I never liked doing stand-alone update videos either because it’ll ruin my momentum in the YouTube algorithm regarding uploads. I feel like live streams would be a great way to update my audience in real-time through responding to the live chat, but I’m still undecided when I’d even want to start doing post-show live streams or video game streams - let me know if you’d be interested. So, I’ll try to be more communicative in the future through community posts and Twitter, (follow me on there if you haven't, it's where I'm the most active and responsive.)

Without going into too much personal detail, this year has been a rough one for me, which has contributed to my 2024 unplanned hiatus. Sometimes, life just hits ya all at once. That said, even if videos take longer to upload than planned, (which I do beat myself up for,) they will eventually come out. This is my dream job, and I’m not going anywhere. I just uploaded my Breaking Bad Season 3 Part 2 Tier List Retrospective, check it out if you haven't! Even though this one is slightly shorter than the rest, (and if you're wondering what took so long,) I also did a 3 1/2-hour Howard Retrospective from Better Call Saul earlier this month!! Go give it some love if you missed it, it may be my favorite character retrospective I've done yet!

Also, I'm also considering doing tier list videos on Invincible, The Boys, and Gen V! Let me know if you'd be interested! (It wouldn't hinder the Better Call Saul & Breaking Bad videos, they would still be released at the same times regardless.)

Speaking of which, lastly, I plan on having the Breaking Bad Season 4 Tier List Retrospective drop sometime within the next month or two, (before New Year at the latest.)

Hey all, just wanted to make a quick update. First off, thank you all so much for 50k subscribers! It means a lot, and I’m happy to see so many people enjoying my content!

For those asking, I am actively working on my Breaking Bad season 3 retrospective, and hope to have it done sometime in the next week.

Between some behind the scenes stuff that I’ve been incorporating, to the sheer amount of things I want to discuss about the show, it’s taking longer than anticipated, but it’s still coming!

Also, I have been working on more “full story of” character retrospectives/spotlights as well. I should hopefully have one of those done by the end of the month.

I might have some shorter videos in between my larger projects as well, but we’ll see. Again, thanks for all the support, and I’ll talk to you all soon!

I remember having a lot of fun putting this one together, and I'm glad you all seemed to enjoy watching it as much as I did making it! Should I split my Breaking Bad tier list retrospectives into two parts as I did with Better Call Saul Season 6? If not, I'm worried the Breaking Bad retrospectives will be 3-4 hours long each due to 13 episodes a season... People seem to respond better to a 2-hour retrospective compared to a 4-hour one. I finished the script for Breaking Bad Season 2, and it's a long boi.

When Better Call Saul season 6 airs, I’m thinking that I’d like to do post-episode live streams for initial reactions, then fully edited episode reviews once the season is over.

Also, I’ve been considering doing tier lists for the episodes in each season of Better Call Saul. (One tier list per season, ranking each episode.) I could make just a normal video for them, but I think it’d be fun to livestream them instead.

Opinions? I’ve never live streamed on YouTube before, so it’ll be a learning experience. I think it’d be fun though.

P.S. Still slowly working on that “big Walt & Jesse video,” hopefully it lives up to exceptions, but regardless, apologizes for the delay. Life has been busy. Hope you are all having a good weekend. Cheers.

*NOT-SO-QUICK UPDATE - SEPT. 2021*
*TLDR:* I just wanted to thank you all for supporting my videos, commenting, etc. I still try to read every comment, even if I can’t reply to them all. (I have notifications on.) Also, lookout for a HUGE Walt and Jesse video soon. The bcs community has always, and will forever be, amazing.

*CUE YT’ER APOLOGY MUSIC*
No real excuses for lack of content, I do have SOME spare time still. That being said, I’ve been busy with irl. (Moving, jobs, etc.) As some of you may know from Twitter and/or Reddit, I’ve been working on a big Walt and Jesse video for a while now. Slowly but surely, I’ve been accumulating what I think will be a great video. Somewhat of an “entry” back into regular content creation. Looking at the script word count, I think it’ll be just over an hour long. (Which is the longest video I think I’ve ever done, even counting previous channels.)

I’m hoping that after the “big video” uploads, I’ll be back to regular uploads; either weekly, or bi-weekly. (Depends on the video length. I can do a 10-20 min video in a week, but 30+ videos require 2 weeks. The video length depends on how much I have to say about a certain subject.)

Thanks for sticking with me. You are all awesome, and sorry to everyone, (especially the regular viewers,) for lack of videos. (I do see your comments, and I appreciate them.)

Also, obligatory thanks to the YT algorithm for pumping my videos while I’ve been away. (Obv due to how amazing you all are at supporting my content, which circles back to the beginning of this post.) I have many thanks that a “text post” simply couldn’t properly convey or do justice.

I know some of you would prefer a video update due to the text length, (I’ve gotten replies in the past,) but my slight “ocd” prevents me from cluttering up my uploads with a channel update, or saying all of this at the end of a video. (It “dates” the video.) So I figure text updates would be best. That being said, let me know if you even see this post in your feed.

Finally, ❤️ to Bob Odenkirk. On Twitter I’ve been closely following his health updates. He suffered from a “minor” heart attack during the summer, and just recently returned to filming. Pls send out prayers for Mr. Odenkirk’s health.
