I'm glad you all enjoy these characters, I honestly didn't expect so many people to show up for this short.

A little backstory on this short:

This short originally started out as a student film in 2022 and didn't get finished in time. Only half of it was done but before I could continue working on it I had to work on X-Marks The Aardvark.
Once X-Marks was finished I continued production on the film and actually finished it with the help of my friend Toarcian who repainted all the backgrounds and made new ones.
At the time of finishing it I was contemplating if it's even worth uploading anymore because I just didn't like it.
I thought I needed to add more shots but then I was talked out of it luckily. (Hence why there is a fully animated scrapped shot of Horatio talking on my Twitter.)
I had to stop sitting on Trials because I had to start working on Terrestrially Challenged, which meant another year of delaying the short.
After 2 long years we finally sat down and edited together the short and now we're here.

It went from half finished student film, to resurrection, to almost being scrapped, to getting 200K views in less than a week on YouTube.

Based on the positive feedback this short has been getting we are considering making more shorts featuring Dorkha and Horatio under the title "FABLE OF FOOLS"

So yes THEY WILL return!

When?

Unfortunately it will not be the next short.
It will be something that has been on the backburner for years.

But after that they will return.
