World Kindness Day: The Science and Strength of Being Kind
Kindness isn’t just something we offer others — it’s something that transforms us from within. Every small act of kindness releases oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine — the brain’s feel-good chemicals that calm stress and strengthen emotional connection.
From a psychological lens, kindness nurtures empathy, resilience, and self-compassion. Even small gestures — especially self-kindness — help regulate your emotions and build inner strength.
Let’s practice kindness today, not just as an act, but as a daily ritual for emotional wellbeing.

Let's see within and conquer the good rather than focusing on the bad. Focus on your strength, the good qualities that you have, the good things you have achieved (no matter how small). Let's cultivate the habit of strengthening the good, positive and strengths and build or less strong points effectively.
Dussehra is also about being grateful for what you have rather than worrying about what you don't have. Gratitude has the power to rewire your brain and make you feel good. It helps you know that there are good times. When you focus on the good, it grows and if you focus on all the good and be grateful for it, just see how it can grow.
I have always believed that being good takes you places and this festival also symbolises the same. Be good and if you feel used or not good then set healthy boundaries. Research has shown gratitude to help you remain positive and happy hence appreciate what you have no matter how small or tiny it may seem currently. I also haven't got there, even I struggle to see the good, appreciate it and be grateful many times. But aren't we all work in progress?
Let me know how you celebrate Dussehra and what is one thing that you are grateful for in the comments below 👇
