Hi there YouTube land. My name is Pirage and welcome to my channel. I have decided to change my channel name yet again. I have now become Guardian of Power. I will be predominantly talking about power metal, melodic heavy metal and traditional heavy metal, some thrash some death metal. Also some lighter stuff I love like melodic rock/aor and all kinds of stuff like that, reviews, top tens, everything and anything.
In my shorts I will post some random stuff as well cats or whatever in the shorts, but in the long format videos, it will be heavy metal related thank you again for watching!

You could say today got off to a terrible start. My phone was stolen from my grasp by a little bastard devil on a high powered e-bike.
I had no time to react at all. It was a pro job. The guy has probably done it 100s of times. So my iPhone 16 is gone and almost zero chance of it to be found by the cops. It was a hectic day of scrambling around blocking and cancelling this and that.
I am currently using my old clapped out iPhone 12 which has a poor camera and no actual SIM card either but works via WiFi only until I sort myself out. I almost don’t even feel like getting a new phone.
My head’s in a bit of a spin so the channel is sadly on hold for a while.
I have no will or see any point in doing videos especially on my older phone.
Thank that piece of excrement thief. Wishing a rapid death or maybe a sack of shit could at least fall on his head and leave him paralysed or something!

First gig in 5 months for me tonight. At least I can’t catch Covid from anyone having barely got over it myself! 😅
This gig was originally billed in May of 2020 would you believe and here we are about to see it 30 months later!
The gig is Visions Of Atlantis headline with support from Xandria. Seen VOA once before I believe and Xandria with their previous singer.
It’s gonna be a fun night of piratical shenanigans. 🏴☠️ Shiver me timberssss! Argggghhh! Sorry had to use cheesy pirate talk… just had to! 😆🤘

I’ve managed to catch Covid yet again. Was hard to avoid since everyone in our house has it. Therefore I haven’t listened to much new music this week so far as I’ve been sick as a dog. Therefore no videos until probably towards the end of next week. Anyway better to get sick now rather than later on in the winter. I’ll be back one of these days next week. 👍

No weekly album review this week as it’s the end of the month. Doubt anyone was waiting for it anyway! 😂 But I will list them below with ratings in case anyone’s interested.
A couple of albums released today that I have big interest in so I will listen to those intensely and film a top 10 albums of the month video instead by Monday and upload that.
Resistance- Skulls Of My Enemy - power/Trad metal 6.5/10
Sanguinary- Aeterna Servitus - Cannibal Corpse style death metal 7/10
Bells And Ravens - What Death Cannot End - Power Metal 7.5/10
Rain City Drive - S/T - Boy band modern rock - 7.5/10
Blizzard Hunter - The Path Of Triump - Surprisingly good trad metal. 8/10
Wicked Stone - Synergy- From June but by far the best album I played this week. Killer! 9/10

No weekly album review video today as it’s the end of the month. I’ll do a top 10 albums of the month instead tomorrow. Been a very busy month of music. I’ve probably sampled around 25 albums in all the various styles I like. So I’ll whittle that down to a top 10. Some really solid albums.
