I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for everyone here and all of your support of our channel. I have to be honest; I did not expect the channel to perform so well in our first year of watch content, nor did I expect to meet so many cool watch lovers either. I genuinely enjoy educating you on the topic. From my team and I at Warrior Time, to you, THANK YOU. Cheers!

Today marks 19 years as a veteran, and in typical fashion, here are my 19 lessons learned along the way:

1) The military is what broke me & built me. My foundation. My discipline. My mindset.

2) I never understood how much one human could miss home until my father died while I was on tour in Iraq.

3) My Purple Heart: It's super cool when people appreciate it. It's not cool when the same people try to use it against me. Wild, I know. I thought about deleting this out, but it's better known than not.

4) F14's dropping in to save you from not getting destroyed (killed) was super awesome. Not in the moment, actually scary AF, but it's super awesome. True story.

5) If not for Carlton Clark, I would not be alive today. That is why I named my non-profit, The Clark Initiative, after him.

6) A chosen one. Whatever you believe in, God, source, universe, has left me here alive instead of taking me on several occasions.

7) After my first tour, a little-known fact is that I blacked out nightly and put on about 65lbs. I was weak.

8) On my second tour, I lost 75 lbs. and have kept it off since.

9) The amount of trauma I experienced is one of the many reasons why I wrote a book teaching how to overcome it in an attempt to help people with doing so.

10) Healing and going down the dark roads facing the shadows is a journey every human should take.

11) I realized many years ago there was no one coming to save me, so I learned how to save myself.

12) Gratitude changed my life. It might be the most powerful thing ever.

13) Meditation. After a decade, it's wild what you can do with it. It all started from wanting to heal.

14) I never knew how strong my leadership ability was until I was forced to lead and use it two decades ago.

15) Speaking of, I truly feel if every American had to serve for a few years, we would be able to get our country back to being filled with bad MFers, similar to a century ago. Not this weak ass soft playdoh dog shit we have these days. #2023.

16) Speaking of, if things do fall apart, veterans will put this country back together. Rest assured, I'll be a key part of that movement.

17) One of the most uncomfortable compliments you can give a veteran is calling them a hero. It's not you, it's us. We do not see it as anything more than doing our part to serve you and our country.

18) Also, there is a HUGE difference between Veterans Day and Memorial Day.
VETERANS DAY = Celebrate who served.
MEMORIAL DAY = Honor who never came home.
But don't worry, we won't LGBTQ+ you to death over it. It's on you to understand it.

19) We, as a country, will make it. Whether you have accepted it or not, we are in historic times. They will talk about this for millennia. It will not be easy, but it will happen. I know it in my heart to be correct.

Ps - This is my favorite picture from my service. You should see what I don't put on the internet.

Cheers to every Veteran out there.
