This habit changed my life !!
After I started working professionally in a corporate, I got so engrossed in my work that I never thought of got the time of upskilling myself. And as I upscaled in my career, I focused more on it and never focused on self growth.
Result: A person who was used to reading big books for her CA, could hardly read 2 pages in one go now. I lost my concentration ability.
When one starts working , they hardly focus on upskilling themselves since all their time is dedicated towards their work and they think that they don’t need to learn something new.
But that’s where one makes mistake.
Because in the world of self-employment, success can often be defined by your ability to adapt, innovate, and stay ahead of the curve. So, Why should you invest your time and effort in upskilling when your corporate career is thriving?
Here's the thing :
➡ Staying Relevant: By upskilling, you ensure that your skillset remains relevant in an ever-changing market. Whether it's learning new digital marketing strategies, mastering emerging technologies, or enhancing your management skills, staying current is a competitive advantage.
➡ Innovation and Creativity: Learning new things can stimulate creativity and innovation within you. Fresh knowledge can lead to breakthrough ideas and solutions that set you apart from the competition.
➡ Building Resilience: Upskilling equips you to face challenges with confidence. When you have diverse skills, you're better prepared to pivot in the face of unexpected market shifts.
➡ Personal Growth: Learning is empowering and fulfilling. It can boost your self-confidence and contribute to personal growth, making you a more effective leader.
And for same reasons , I made a habit of dedicating few hours every week to upskill myself. Be it in same field of my work or something else. It helps me get a fresh perspective and get better at what I do.
I’d really like to know ways in which you all up skill yourself.
Do let me know in comments below.

1 > 10
No, I'm not dumb!!
1 hour of doing something > 10 hours of thinking
1 hour of networking > 10 hours of sitting at home
1 hour of realizing self worth > 10 hours of comparing yourself
1 hour of building yourself > 10 hours of watching others
1 good friend > 10 acquaintances
This reminds us that quality over quantity leads to a more fulfilling and productive life.
Whether it's the time we spend, the people we connect with, or the way we view ourselves, embracing quality can make all the difference.
So, do the math, and choose quality EVERYTIME.

I still remember my father telling me as a child:
"Learn from Dr. Manmohan Singh. He studied under the dim light of a kerosene lamp, and here you are, not studying despite having all the facilities."
Dr. Singh has been an inspiration for countless students, including me. Regardless of the criticism he may have faced for being reserved, his legacy is rooted in the power of education.
He once said, "I am what I am today because of education."
And I couldn’t agree more. Everything I am today, everything I’ve achieved, is because of education.

I have always believed I’m Santa’s favorite among my siblings - or at least I like to think so! 🎄
Christmas has always felt magical to me. Every year, Santa would fill my stockings with gifts on Christmas Eve.
I know some of you might say, “Isha, grow up!” But Christmas keeps me feeling like a child again.
As soon as winter started, I would try to be the best girl possible - keeping my wardrobe and books neatly arranged.
My father used to say, “Santa will check how you’ve behaved and how organized you are.” Of course, I wanted to be the best every year!
We decorated the Christmas tree at home with so much excitement. On the night of December 24th, my siblings and I would hang the longest stockings we could find on the door, thinking longer stockings would mean more gifts. 😄
That night, we would stay half-awake, listening to every small noise, hoping it was Santa with our gifts.
For many years, I believed Santa was real. My younger brother even wrote letters to him and gave them to my father to post (they never got sent, of course!).
Later, we found out the truth - it was our parents who made all the magic happen. They bought the gifts, hid them around the house, and quietly filled our stockings on Christmas Eve.
Even now, knowing the truth, Christmas still feels just as special. It reminds me of those warm, happy moments with my family.
Do you have any special Christmas memories or traditions? 🎁🎄

Yesterday was the Last Monday of 2024!!
From Corporate Monday Blues to Grad Me Up! to Content Creation: In short building your own empire
This year was not just another chapter - it was full of challenges, growth, and learning about myself.
> I stepped out of my comfort zone. Deadlines were tough, decisions felt heavy, and life was often a juggling act.
But I learned that being strong is not about avoiding problems; it’s about finding ways to grow through them.
> 2024 made me ask myself big questions: What really matters? What do I want to achieve?
Facing these questions wasn’t easy, but it helped me become stronger and more aware of myself.
> I also realized how important connections are.
Whether it was leaning on family and friends or meeting new people, these relationships gave me the strength to keep moving forward.
As the year ends, I feel grateful - not because it was easy, but because it shaped me.
To everyone reading this: take a moment to think about your own journey this year.

You are great at Excel!
When was the last time you got a compliment?
I got one this morning.
An old friend called after seeing my latest reel on Instagram.
She loved my Excel skills and acting. Her boss follows me too.
Feeling valued is a basic human need. Don’t you agree?
👌🏻 Compliments activate your brain's reward system, like receiving money.
👌🏻 They help you improve skills, even during sleep.
👌🏻 They make you feel better, more attractive, and confident.
👌🏻 They build relationships, improve communication, and motivate.
Over 75% of us suffer from work-related burnout. Compliments can help us handle stress and create a positive work environment. Giving compliments makes you notice and appreciate the good in others.
When I get a compliment, it inspires me to do the same for others. It’s wonderful to make someone’s day and make them feel special.
Next time you feel something positive about someone, share it. You never know how much it might mean to them.
Let’s make it a habit to appreciate and uplift each other here on YouTube and beyond.
