Sabaidee! Palina’s Global Flavors is all about my food creations inspired by many cultures including my own cultural heritage – cuisines from Laos, particularly Southern Laos (Pakse, Laos). “Sabaidee” [suh-bye-dee] in the Lao (ສະບາຍດີ) language is a special greeting that means more than a simple hello. It’s a warm gesture for welcoming you to @palinasglobalflavors. I’ve traveled to many parts of our beautiful world and enjoyed meeting people of all backgrounds, learning history through their storytelling, and experiencing a fusion of cultures – yes, foods. Mmmm. Sharing this cultural culinary journey with you through my own recipes will be a delicious treat.
