Day 33 of 33: Participate in the Life of Christ
The Flame of Love Connection:
Philippians 2:5-11 reveals Christ’s self-giving love. Though divine, He humbled Himself, taking on human nature and becoming obedient unto death. His humility led to His exaltation, showing that true glory comes through self-emptying and love.
St. Louis de Montfort deepens this call, comparing our souls to blank canvases. To become faithful imitators of God, we must paint our lives with the virtues of Christ, the perfect model. Like an artist carefully shaping each stroke, we must keep our eyes on Jesus, ensuring our every action, word, and thought reflects His holiness.
The Flame of Love message aligns perfectly with this path. Jesus implores us to ceaselessly desire the coming of His Kingdom and to spread His Mother’s Flame of Love. This sacred fire, given through Mary, is the light that transforms hearts. Just as Christ emptied Himself in love, we are called to surrender ourselves to this mission, becoming bearers of His Mother’s Flame.
These three teachings unite in a profound truth: to participate in the life of Christ, we must humble ourselves, faithfully imitate Him, and spread the Flame of Love to every heart. Through our sacrifices, virtues, and unwavering desire for His Kingdom, we become instruments of His grace. As Mary’s Flame spreads, darkness is overcome, and the world is set ablaze with divine love—just as Christ desires.

Day 32 of 33: The Blessed Sacrament
The Flame of Love Connection:
The Blessed Sacrament is the greatest expression of Jesus' enduring love for humanity. In 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, St. Paul recounts how Christ, on the night of His betrayal, instituted the Eucharist as a perpetual remembrance of His sacrifice. This is not just a memorial but a living reality—each time we partake of His Body and Blood, we proclaim His death and anticipate His return.
St. Louis de Montfort deepens this understanding in Love Eternal Wisdom #71, highlighting how Eternal Wisdom, in His boundless love, devised a way to remain with us. Not content with merely dying for us, He chose to abide with us in the most intimate manner—hidden under the form of simple bread. This humility and self-giving love reveal the depths of His desire to dwell in our hearts.
The Flame of Love message echoes this truth. In her adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Elizabeth Kindelmann receives Jesus’ words: “Say and constantly repeat, ‘My adored Jesus.’” This simple act of love and repentance brings immense graces and peace. It affirms that the Eucharist is not just a doctrine but a personal encounter—an invitation to surrender, adore, and receive His transforming love.
Through the Eucharist, Jesus overturns nature itself to be with us. May we respond by letting Him enter our hearts, whispering in love and reverence: My adored Jesus.

Day 31 of 33: Christ loves us to the Extreme
The Flame of Love Connection:
Christ’s love is beyond human comprehension—it is love to the extreme. Isaiah 53 vividly portrays the suffering of the Messiah, who bore our griefs and carried our sins, silently accepting humiliation and pain for our redemption. He was wounded, bruised, and crushed so we may be healed. His suffering was not meaningless; it was the price of our salvation.
St. Louis de Montfort calls us to contemplate Christ crucified, not just as an image but as a weapon against despair, temptation, and suffering. He urges us to gaze upon the wounds of Jesus and recognize that whatever trials we endure, Christ has suffered more, not out of necessity, but out of love. Contemplation of His Passion strengthens us, shielding us from hopelessness and uniting our pain to His.
This profound reality is echoed in the words of Jesus to Elizabeth Kindelmann. “Look at My disfigured Face and My tortured Sacred Body,” He pleads. He does not simply ask for sorrow but for belief and adoration. Like Elizabeth, we must respond with acts of faith, hope, and love—desiring never to be separated from Him. Her plea to be chained to Christ’s feet reflects a deep longing for union, a shelter in the wounds of Love.
When we suffer, let us not despair. Instead, let us fix our eyes on Christ crucified, whose wounds heal, whose chains liberate, and whose love answers every cross we bear.
