If you’re 60+ and want to lose fat this is for you!

1. Strength Training (2–3x a week):
• Lifting weights or using resistance bands helps preserve and build muscle, which keeps metabolism higher.
• Focus on full-body exercises like squats (chair-assisted if needed), push-ups (wall or knee variations), rows, and overhead presses.

2. Cardio (3–5x a week):
• Low-impact options like walking, swimming, cycling, or even dancing work great.
• Aim for 20–40 minutes at a moderate pace where you can still hold a conversation but are breathing heavier.

3. Nutrition:
• Focus on lean proteins (chicken, fish, Greek yogurt), lots of vegetables, healthy fats (avocado, nuts), and whole grains (brown rice, oats).
• Reduce processed foods, added sugars, and excessive carbs.
• Stay in a slight calorie deficit — but not too extreme — to protect muscle and energy levels.

4. Recovery and Sleep:
• Prioritize sleep (7–8 hours) and allow for extra rest between workouts if needed.
• Stretching, yoga, or mobility work can be great to prevent injuries.

5. Consistency over Intensity:
• You don’t have to “go hard” — just stay consistent with moderate exercise and healthy eating habits.
