Hull, Massachusetts. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been out this way. I specifically went to see the gigantic Lobster pot tree. When they first put it up, you could walk inside but the town fenced it for public safety reasons. The buoy tree is an “in memory” tree and it was special to see & read all the remembrances. I ended at Fort Revere artillery batteries and then it started to snow. What a beautiful seaside community, great memories had here growing up.

Some photos from here & there. I’ve been learning how to properly use this 4K trail cam that I purchased. I set it out at home and captured a random cat. I’ll be taking it to the forest soon.

Been a little under the weather this week so I’ve only been out on micro adventures during the day, there will be new camps & adventures NEXT Sunday 🤗

Hello & happy Tuesday. We’re supposed to be getting our first snow today… we’ll see. And what does everyone do with last year’s shovels? You see everyone running out to buy shovels, did you toss out or lose last year’s shovel? Anyway.

Join me Sunday for something a little different but familiar to what I used to do a lot. Explore! Urbex style. (I hate the word urbex) it’s all just exploring to me.
I was already out hiking, had about 5 miles under my belt before I stumbled onto this. An abandoned retreat down a gated & closed road, complete with a dining hall, chapel, range, houses and soooo much more. Since going here I have dug up the history of what this was and it starts in 1935.

The photos posted here are this Sunday’s video. I had no idea what this place was at the time of discovery but have been back several times to see more & gather accurate information.

Good morning, happy hump day and a very happy Thanksgiving to you however you may spend the day.

Join me Sunday for a last minute & very cold car camp. It got colder than I had anticipated. I broke out the “smelter” aka Twig Stove… a great first piece of camping kit that I sill use today. I also had a gear failure at camp and tossed out a reviewed piece of kit… in the garbage it went! Also a long term use piece of kit did exactly what I thought it was going to do and I’ll show you what that is.

I may not have my heat situation for car camping figured out just yet but my bedding is warm and comfortable as my bed at home and I’ll show you what I do to achieve that.

Headed out camping!! Im hoping to have it edited and ready for Sunday.

Please enjoy a few randoms from a very recent, out of state explore. Lots of interesting things to see and surprisingly minimal graffiti. I wonder if they once did taxidermy here or studied nature, rocks & birds. Sadly none of the birds had their heads and was quite disturbing to see to be honest. Lots and lots of rock samples filled this building.

Anyway, I hope you have been getting out there doing whatever it is that YOU like to do.

Hello, happy Thursday. A few randoms from here & there. Creepy finding a not so hidden trail cam on a public, non hunting footpath. It’s a wireless remote cam that records video and audio. I may set up my own camouflaged trail cam behind this to see who’s watching, lol. Yes… i stood in front of it, waved and suggested they position it better, 😂

Join me Sunday for a hidden gem in the middle of a city. I’ll bring you to a favorite chill spot in this green space over the highway and a few surprises along the way. Upcoming I have a killer flashlight review to show you, I’ll eventually show you my trail cam that I bought (not sent) and then we go camping!!! Woo hoo! 😜
