The Shakti Fashion Crafts Centre brings this belief to life by teaching tailoring skills to underprivileged women. Through practical training and consistent support, the centre empowers them to gain financial independence, build confidence, and create a better future.

At our education centres, our goal reaches far beyond academics — we nurture life skills that empower young learners to face challenges, make wise choices, collaborate confidently and engage meaningfully in their communities. Through these sessions, children build strength, resilience and purpose for everyday life and future success.
A Few Hours of Fun and Friendship At Shakti Education Centre, we dedicate a day each week to recreational activities, offering our children joyful respite from their academic routines. Leaving a Decade of Pain Behind A woman had been living with a noticeable lump on her head for over 10 years. A CT scan revealed a 3.7 × 1.5 cm epidermal cyst. She subsequently underwent surgical removal of the cyst, and the procedure was successfully completed. The Shakti Fashion Crafts Centre empowers women and girls from underprivileged communities through a 6-month tailoring course, covering beginner to advanced levels.
Participants gain hands-on experience in creating their own clothing and crafting high-demand fashion items, building practical skills that open doors to employment in the garment industry and foster financial independence.
Currently, 61 women and girls are benefiting from this programme, acquiring the expertise to pursue a respectful and sustainable livelihood.
Meet two incredible students who were never enrolled in school and now dream of becoming a doctor and a police officer. 🌟
They are now enrolled in a private school, and we are proud to support them every step of the way — from completing their documentation to covering all their educational expenses for the entire year. So far, we have mainstreamed 39 students from this slum: 6 into private schools and 33 into government schools. 💛
100 water purifiers were distributed to families in Shakti Nagar Slum, Gurugram, to safeguard their health, prevent waterborne diseases, and ensure sustained access to clean and safe drinking water.
At Shakti Education Centre, we provide weekly fruits or meals to give children the nutrients they need to grow strong, stay healthy, and focus in class. This simple care nurtures their bodies and dreams.
