Pakistan Express – An Excellent Travel Facility for Branch Line Passengers
Pakistan Express is one of the important passenger trains of Pakistan Railways, operating between Karachi and Rawalpindi. The train runs via the Khanewal–Faisalabad–Wazirabad Branch Line, providing direct, affordable, and convenient transportation for passengers living in branch line cities and towns.
Pakistan Express departs from Karachi Cantt at 2:00 PM daily and arrives in Rawalpindi at 5:45 PM the following day. On its return journey, the train leaves Rawalpindi at 6:00 AM and reaches Karachi at 8:45 AM the next day.
The train offers Economy Class and AC Standard Class accommodations to cater to different passenger needs. Pakistan Express is considered one of the more economical travel options between Karachi and Rawalpindi. The fare from Karachi to Rawalpindi is approximately Rs. 4,200 for Economy Class and Rs. 10,250 for AC Standard Class.
